Chapter 1- The Past

It's been a day since the Titans attacked our village... I lost my parents, I lost my friends, I lost hope. luckily I found a group of people lining up to evacuate so I decided to follow them. My name is Cory, and I'm 12 years old, I know, I'm too young to watch people get eaten while staring in fear but Life doesn't give you lemons,...it gives you shit. Anyway, I'm following the people, I'm not sure where we're evacuating at, probably to another wall. I hope I'll find some food, I hope they'll be giving it ou- "OW!! "WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING YOU DINKWEED" a kid bumped into me, he sounded very provoked. "Look man you bumped into ME, don't you start with me you jerk" I replied. "DO YOU WANNA GO BRO?? ILL 1 V 1 YOU MAN COME ON! COME ON!! He cried. He looked shook, he was even tearing up!!! I Kinda felt bad for him, I can tell he's been through a lot, just look at his eye, and his lost tooth, and the blood on his clothes. "No I won't fight you, you look like you're alone, what happened, just tell me," I said putting my hands on his shoulders to calm him down. Then he replied "they all died..all of them...I....I saw it...I saw THEM.." He started to cry even more. I gave him a hug and started to tear up a bit, then I said "Same here man, what's you're name, I'm Cory" . The kid wiped his tears and said, "name's Tommy, hey do you want to stick together, you know, to find food and stuff?" I looked around me, I don't exactly know where I am. "Sure, maybe we can find more people like us!" I replied smiling at him, he smiled back and felt more confident. We suddenly stopped and noticed a little girl with short red hair comforting a much smaller kid with green hair. "It's okay Jon, we still have each other, mom and dad might not be here but I am, and I'll always be here" the girl said hugging the kid tighter.  I walked to the children to see what's up, "hey are you guys alright, y'all are hurt" Tommy and I stood around them. "Ashlie...are we going to..die?" Jon said randomly. Then Tommy said "hey kid don't worry, I lost my parents too! I guess we all are orphans buddy," we all paused and looked at Tommy with a discussed look. Ashlie glared at Tommy...Tommy obviously felt threaten. Jon cried some more. "TOMMY WHAT THE HELL, HE' JUST A TODDLER!" I shouted while pinching Tommy. "AAAAAAAAA IM SORRY OWWW" Tommy cried. "It's okay Jon, he didn't mean it" Ashlie said letting go of Jon sitting him down. " So, your name is Ashlie right?" I said. "Yeah, and this here is my little brother Jon, say hi Jon". Jon didn't reply, he looked really sad, and scared. I gave him a friendly smile and turned to Tommy and Ashlie "It's okay, don't worry guys, we will find a way to get through all this, let's stick together okay?" "Okay!" Tommy and Ashlie said very determined.

Two kids where walking through the rubble. "Uni!! Wait up! I can't run as fast as you!" "Nick! You are such a slow poke!" Uni said climbing out of a broken down house. "Uni, I don't think it's safe for us to be here, there are still Titans y'know" "I know! I just think they are so FASCINATING!!! Don't you think so too Nick?" Nick quickly put his hands on his mouth. "Uni, shut.up. The Titans will hear us!" Uni pushed Nick's hands out of the way of his mouth and said "We don't have to be quiet to be sneaky, it worked out when we were escaping the orphanage" "Uni! They did find us! But we out ran them and we left Dawn behind! God knows how he's doing! He always had a fear of Titans. We could out run people, but we can't out run Titans. You just don' get it, do you? You think this world is all rainbows and lollipops..." Nick said while Uni took a look at him then at the sunset. "Nick, I know this world is a bloody hell pit, but I want to think positive, I want to be involved" "Uni,...what do you want to do with your life?"..... Uni looked back at Nick and smiled, then said" I want to be part of the scouts. I want to get outside the walls and discover the world,...are you with me?" Nick hesitated on saying yes he was quite shocked too...then Nick finally opened his mouth..."yes I'll go with" then they both stared at the sunset.
