Chapter 8///Man Up

Zane POV:

I think just about everyone has heard the rumors about what happened with David and Sabrina. After talking to David it's pretty obvious that Sabrina forced herself onto him, I mean it wouldn't be the first time that's happened. She's one of those rich kids. If she sees something she likes, she goes for it, and it doesn't matter what it is. 

Zane: Hey Dave.

David just nodded back at me. This whole Sabrina deal has really gotten to his head. As he went to pass by me I pulled his book bag back, stopping him in his tracks.

Zane: What is up with you man?

David: What do you mean?

Zane: Since this whole Sabrina thing you've been all depressed and mopey. If anything you should feel pretty good considering you got a kiss from Sabrina Carter.

David: FEEL PRETTY GOOD! She forced herself onto me! I don't like her. She ruined my chances with Liza.

David whispered the last part very low.

Zane: Wait.... say that last part again.

David: I said she ruined my chances with Liza.

Zane: Woah woah woah, you like Liza Koshy!

David: Yeah, but she hates me now.

Zane: Well stop being a little punk and go get her back!

David: What!

Zane: You heard me! Nothing really happened between you and Sabrina so go fight for your girl and get her back. Stop sluffing around like a little baby!

David: You know what you're right Zane. Thanks!

Zane: Anytime.

David POV:

I walked to Liza's science class because I knew she would be getting out in like 5 minutes. As all the students flooded out of the classroom I couldn't find Liza. Finally, I saw her curly brown hair and perfect smile. She saw me and her smile quickly faded and she rolled her eyes then turned the other way.

David: Liza! LIZA....wait!

She just continued walking like she never even heard me.

David: Liza please let me explain.

Since I knew she wasn't going to listen I grabbed her hand but that backfired because she just pulled it right back. She might be small but damn she's strong. I just followed her to her locker instead.

David: Liza just please talk to me!

Liza: Why should I talk to you. Can't you talk to Sabrina?

David: Liza I don't like her, she forced herself onto me. I didn't want to kiss her.

Liza: That's what they all say.

At that moment I grabbed Liza's waist and pulled her around so she was facing me instead of digging around in her locker. Like Zane said I needed to get my girl back. We were face to face like before when we kissed for the first time. I pushed her against the locker so she would just listen to me with no distractions.

David: I don't like Sabrina, I like you, Liza.

Her face softened up a bit like she was finally realizing. I looked into her big brown eyes before I started to lean in closer pressing myself into her slowly. She did the same and once again fireworks went off unlike when I kissed Sabrina. Her hands went into my hair and I put my hands on the lockers so I wouldn't crush her. It was like making out with an actual angel. Omg, she is so perfect. Suddenly we were interrupted by the loud bell. We both pulled apart even though I never wanted it to end. 

Liza: I gotta get to class.

David: Yeah me too.

Liza: See ya at play practice.

David: Bye!

We both walked our separate ways so we wouldn't be later than we already were.

Liza: Oh yeah and David.

David: Yes?

Liza: I like you too.
