Kyle and Jacky O were running the carpet tonight. Kyle was the second driver we had and Jacky is the host in the red dress. They called us all over to get us prepared for the interview. We were still in front of everyone so they just told us to be cool and natural. They passed Louis, Harry and Liam the microphones and we just had to share them around when we had something to say.
“So boys, welcome! How does it feel to be in Australia? Do you like it?” Kyle asked
“We thank you all so much for having us. It’s been great so far!” Liam replied
“What do you plan on doing here? Do you all have some sort of food you want to eat while you’re here?”Jacky used her sweet voice as the boys looked at each other and pretty much picked who was going to speak.
“Yeah we do actually.” Harry said
“Let’s all take turns here. Zayn” Jacky gestured
“I want to eat a pineapple lump. It’s not that interesting but yeah.”
“I’d like to eat a tim-tam.” Liam laughed
“I’d like to try a meat pie” Harry followed
“And you Niall?” Kyle asked
“hmm, I did think about this and I want to try vegemite.”
“And I want a caramel koala.” Louis smiled
“No carrots?” Kyle laughed.
The interview went on for awhile and us girls just stood there for awhile smiling and laughing.
“Louis, let’s move the elephant in the room, your cousin.” Jacky said in all seriousness with a smile on her face
“Yeah, have you met her before?” Louis laughed while grabbing my arm and walking me to Jacky trying to be funny
“No I have not.” Jacky giggled
“Well Jacky this is Caitlin, Caitlin this is my new friend Jacky.” I shook her hand laughing and so was everyone else. She ended up putting her arm around me and she asked “What’s different about Louis since you last saw him?”
“Well allot does change in 5 years. He’s still a joker, funny as ever. But now he does have a beautiful girlfriend and he has grown into having this wonderful talent.” I hugged him from the side.
“Aw that’s beautiful hunny” Kyle said. “Do you have anything embarrassing about him that he won’t tell himself?”
“Of course! For one his nickname from me is LuLu and he has hilarious moment’s everyday that is crazy embarrassing but I’m going to have to leave it at that for now. Don’t want to be an awkward car trip home.” Everyone laughed but I wasn’t trying to be funny.
“You’re a sweetheart. Now Harry and Louis, You both have a bromance thing happening, tell us about this I mean Harry your dating Louis’s cousin?” Kyle said
“Yeah um, we have our occasional, love strikes but yes I am dating Caitlin. She’s beautiful isn’t she” Harry looked at me and once again I couldn’t help but smile back.
The interview grew long. They talked about their new songs coming out, Louis and Eleanor, Lauren and Niall and even Liam’s girlfriend who couldn’t make it tonight. I was happy by the end of the interview that we could just walk the red carpet and be us.
“Thank you so much boys and your girls. Have a great night.”Jacky said. Then we all hugged and said goodbye and then it was a 30 minute walk down the red carpet. I honestly don’t know how the boys do this all the time.
