We're the same

I came to you,
Said "I need help"
You could see,
I wasn't myself.
Showed you my wrist,
You saw my scars,
And you said.

We're the same.
We were broken down and ripped apart.
We're the same,
Life stripped away, stabbed in the heart.

You took my arm,
Told me don't worry.
No more self harm,
The old you's blurry
I began to cry
I agreed to try
Then You said

I know what's wrong.
You've been depressed and been hurt.
I know what's wrong,
I'm the same, thrown in the dirt.

I was worried,
You've been hurt too,
This dreadful life,
I can't lose you.
You needed me,
I'll help, you'll see.
I'll just say,

We're the same.

Life stripped away, stabbed in the heart.

I sat in my room,
I looked at my knife.
Stepped away.
I won't take my life.
You helped me, now I'll help you.
Stick to the plan and we'll get through.
And I said

We'll get trough it,
Stick together.
Too late to quit,
Too soon for forever.
I understand,
Go with what we've planed.

We helped each other,
Pulled through and through.

There's nothing we can't do.
I'll get you through tuff times,
Suffering isn't a crime.
That's what we'll say.
