Wow.

Just.

Wow.

Death cells?

Just like the name, the room and atmosphere was terrifying. It was chalk white, and clean. The same clean that would be in St. Mungos. It was cold,  yet warm, and a pool of a black potion was in the middle. It seem to be an almost acidic pensive, with an execution chair hovering over it.

"Don't do this, Bernadette. Please." Tina said. She was upset and still in shock. Understandably so.

"It don't hurt." The executioner said. How many times did this happen? However, the attempt at reasurrence only made her more upset. The executioner raised her wand and extracted memories, flinging it into the potion. Tina immediately calmed, looking dreamily into the now inviting death.

"Don't that look good?" Tina nodded, laughing a little. "You wanna get in?" Tina nodded again. She was placed in the chair, content, happy even, looking at all the memories, all of them happy, unknowingly heading toward her death.

No, Tina! Snap out of it! I wanted to shout. Apparently the executioner holding my arm noticed, as his grip tightened and dug his wand further into my temple. I winced, but held my tongue.

"Let's get the good stuff out you." The other executioner said to Newt.

And then many things happened at once.

Newt flung around, his cuffs off. Of course Pickett picked them. About time he lived up to his name.

Spells were flying, and a stray one hit my cuffs, freeing my wrists. The executioners had most of their attention on Newt, so I picked up a stray wand and Stunned them from behind. The Swooping Evil was flying around the room, stayed out of the way of spells.

"MR. SCAMANDER!" Tina had snapped out of her trance.

"Don't panic!" Was Newt's brilliant advice.

"What do you suggest I do instead?"

"Jump"

She looked around, contemplating the option. "Are you crazy?" If the situation wasn't so sirius, I would've said yes.

"Jump on him. Listen Tina, I'll catch you." She still looked hesitant. The potion almost trapped her. "NOW!" For a second, I didn't think she was going to, but she did. Newt caught here in his arms. They gazed at each other's eyes for a split second.

Wait.

Was Newt...

Starting to like her?

He was!

He took her hand, and we all took off running down the hall. Aurors were coming from all directions, alarms blaring. Newt swung the swooping evil at them. I should help. I need to help. But I couldn't.

"Lily, help!"

"I-I can't! It's been years! Even then, I barely used it!"

"Lily, I need you too." I took a shaky breath. Okay. Okay. I closed my eyes. I imagined what I need to do, and all the Aurors were stunned. It was weird. It was different. It was... new. It was so far out of my comfort zone, yet... It was right. I needed to accept that part of me. Let it be me again. I smiled a little. I was complete again. We continued running, until Queenie, looking rushed, followed by Jacob looking way confused. She held out the case and our wands.

"Get in." She said. I didn't ask. I probably didn't want to know.

Something told me blackmail was involved.

Once we were in the case and out of sight, I sank down, trying to process what just happened.

"Hey, are you okay?" Newt asked concerned.

"I-" I sighed. Yes would be a lie, but so would no. "I'm not sure. I think I'm still trying to process everything, and, just- I don't know anymore."

"I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"For pushing you like that."

"Don't worry about it. I was having a mental battle about it anyway, and you saw reason where I didn't."

"Still. Hey, maybe you should tell Queenie when we get the chance."

"I was planning on it." He merely chuckled and pulled me close to him, like he had done when I got nightmares, or relapses, or when I randomly appeared in the house those years ago. Maybe it was because we had all nearly died , or maybe he guessed what I suspected, but he felt warmer, more comforting, and at the same time, more on guard. I rested my head on his shoulders, and listened to the sounds of the creatures.

A/N: EEE okay, so that was a ton of brother/sister fluff toward the end, and even a little Newtina in there.  I wanted to show her mental struggle of her powers and how she came over them. Also, I have news.  I have decided that the prequel will be a one-shot book of her, Newt, the other OC, and even Leta. It will cover her early childhood, important events at school, such as sorting or Newt's expulsion. And I think I'll include a bit of her Auror training, and maybe a bit of Grindewald.  And if that's done before the second movie is out, I'll do my own version.

Well, bye!!
