Katie's POV:
My mom and I were bored so we went to the boardwalk to walk around.
Eventually after walking four blocks,
we started to get hungry.
"Hey mom, you hungry?" I panted.
"Yes, starving!" She said.
"I don't know any good places down here, do you?" I questioned.
"No, but this place looks good!"
The place we stopped at was called
'A-5'. It looked like an old beach house.
That's so cool I thought.
We sat down on the far end of the restaurant and looked through the menu for drinks.
"Can I have a pink lemonade?" I asked.
"Yes ma'am, and for you?" She mentioned to my mother.
"I'll have a sweet tea please."
They sat for awhile and talked about anything and everything. Later on they ordered their food.
After that Katie had to go to the bathroom. When she got back she was looking around the restaurant, admiring the textures and art pieces on the walls.
Then she caught a glimpse of a boy.
She didn't recognize him and she didn't think he went to her school. They were both staring at each other for awhile until he turned away.
By that time her mother had already payed the check and they were getting up to leave. She didn't want to leave, she wanted to keep admiring that boy. He was just so...cute!
She realized it was rude to stare so she just kept following her mother back down the boardwalk. Now she wasn't in the best mood, she'll never get to see him again she thought.
