Chapter 32: Fake, Make, and Take Out
Lynsey's POV:
I rubbed my eyes and stretched out, yawning as I opened my eyes slowly and was facing a dark blue wall. I turned over and looked around Ryan's dimly lit room, smiling to myself. Turning my head, I inhaled the scent of his covers and pillows. They smelt like him, Paul Sebastian Cologne Aftershave also known as the most heavenly scent ever.
After inhaling the scent a little longer I rolled to my back and sat up and I was about to just fall back down, because I really didn't want to get up, but pushed the covers off of me to force myself to get up. I swung my legs over the edge of his bed and looked over at the photo again. She really was beautiful. I sat there thinking about her, how she was always happy around others, gorgeous, adorable, perfect really, but my thoughts were interrupted when a sharp pain blasted in my right eye. Ow. I blinked of couple times, but my vision was still blurred.
Dammit... I looked over at his dresser and saw a blurry version of my purse. I walked carefully over to it and opened it up. For some reason I remembered to bring my glasses to the party last night. I don't know. I grabbed them out and put them on, walking over to the mirror in his room. Oh god... I pulled my hair up into a ponytail and pushed my glasses up the bridge of my nose. I really needed to wash my face. My black mascara had run down my face, making me look like a raccoon. I walked to the bathroom that Ryan had told me about last night and washed my face off. I also may have stole some mouth wash I saw because, I mean, come on... morning breath, no thank you. Alright, whatever.
I walked out of the bathroom and into the hallway, taking a right to head towards the stairs. His house was even more amazing than I remembered. I gaped at his house from the top of the stairs before walking down each step carefully. Once I got to the bottom I had no clue where to go. I didn't know his house. All I've got is the front door, his room, and the bathroom. I was standing in the family room right now and decided to sit down on the couch. I would probably get lost if I actually tried to find anything.
I pushed my glasses up again, I don't know why, they just don't like to stay in place. Where is Ryan? He was with me last night. Hm? I looked around, no one. Well... duh Lynsey. I walked over and ended up in the kitchen. No one. The dining room. No one. The screening room. No one. I heard a faint noise in my ears and headed to closed, white double doors in the back of the screening room. I opened up the doors and music filled my ears. Taking a step in, I closed the two doors behind me carefully. I looked over at Ryan, he was playing piano. Not only was he playing piano, but my favorite song on the piano River Flows in You by Yiruma. I listened to him play it beautifully, hitting every note, playing every chord.
After he finished, the smile on my face was more than evident. He sat looking at the keys and ran his hands through his hair, letting out a shaky breath.
"You know..." his back straightened and he got tense at the sound of my voice, he obviously didn't know I was listening, "... that's my favorite song for piano."
He cleared his throat as I walked over to him and put my hands on his tense shoulders, his body loosened at my touch and his neck stretched.
I rubbed my thumbs in little circles on his neck and heard a noise that he tried to suppress from the back of his throat. I grinned at the idea of having this effect on him in such little time. Taking control of my "power", I continued rubbing his neck and the effect, just as I had hoped it would, got stronger. After a minute Ryan groaned out my name.
