Chapter One

Leah's POV

"That movie was amazing!" I shout as we leave the theatre. Not paying attention, I trip over Taylor's leg that just so happened to be in the way. I punch him as hard as I can in the arm though I'm not that strong. Apparently I hit him hard enough to make him yell ow and go pout over by Cameron and Bri. Ugh, those to love birds. I only wish I had a relationship like that. Nash and Matt are fooling around, so I just walk with Jay and Alexis. "Just ask him out already!" Jay shouts. "What if he doesn't like me back," Lexi replys. Alexis and Taylor have been best friends for as long as I can remember. Over the past year she's developed a crush on him. "You guys, that's all you ever talk about." I don't think they realize that I have worst boy prob.. Oh god here's Matt.

Matt's POV

"I don't know I don't talk to her all that much," I say to Nash. "Plus wouldn't you be mad if I asked out your sister?" "Bro, were close enough that I can trust that you're not gonna hurt her. If you do... Well let's leave it at that. Now go over there and confess to her pretty boy!" Nash shoves me over and I stumble but maintain my balance. I already see her turn. She doesn't like me. She doesn't even want to talk to me. I knew I shouldn't have told Nash. I loose track of my thoughts and they seem to go on forever. Things such as she doesn't like you and speak up ran through my mind. Finally I decide to say something. So I'm not just standing here awkwardly. "Hey, uh, Leah." I already messed up. I don't even know what to say. Ugh. "Hey," she replies in a quiet, shy tone. I try to begin a conversation as I see Alexis and Jay have basically excluded her. "So." She says.

Leah's POV

Oh god I've screwed up. Oh no, oh no. I think I've already completely ruined my chances. What now. I sigh. This will create a lonnngggg night.

Matts POV

"So, do you wanna go to the beach tonight; you know, just you and me. It just kinda seems like were both the third wheels." I think I played it off. Well, did I? I see her blush. Does that mean she's embarrassed? Wow, I know absolutely nothing about a relationship. "Actually Matt, I'd love that." All I can think a this point is how to make tonight unforgettable and make myself admirable.
