Kenzie POV
I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock. I groan but get up and walk over to where my phone was charging and sit on the floor. I call my best friends to wake them up, first i call Beth because she will take the longest to get ready. Then i call Maria then Logan because they wont take as long to get ready. I usally dont get up this early on a Saturday but today me and the other girls are going to California to Magcon to support my cousin JC. JC got us VIP passes and two rooms on his and the other boys' floor. Me and Maria fly to California alot, but the other girls haven't been and they are nervous. I cant wait to leave North Carolina, I havn't seen Nash since the first Magcon. Me and Nash were best friends in elementary school but i had to move a couple hours away and now i barely see him. When i start to get ready i take a quick shower and blow dry my hair, then i get a text from JC.

I finish getting ready and make sure i had everything i needed for the week packed. I tell my dad goodbye and drive to Logan's house.
After i picked up Logan we drove to Beth's. "Flights" by Jack amd Jack was blasting though out my car. Logan was so excited that we were going to Magcon because she has never met any of the boys. Me and Logan have been bestfriends since i moved away from Nash. Leah was my first friend when i moved but in the middle of the school year she had to move so i only had one friend an that was Logan. Logan has had a big crush on Shawn Mendes since she first heard him sing and she still doesnt know he is picking us up at the airport. "Logan, i have to tell you something." i say as i turn the music down. "What is it?" she asked. "You know how you have a crush on Shawn...Well he is coming to pick us up at the airport later." i told her. "OH MY GOD. Are you serious?!?!" she says as she starts to cry happy tears. When we get to Beth's house Logan was still shaking with excitement.
*Honk Honk*
I press my horn as Beth pokes her head out of her window from her room "I'm coming!" she yells.
Beth's POV
"I'm coming!' i yell out my window when i hear Kenz honking her horn. I grab my luggage and go downstairs i tell my mom and brother bye and walk out of the door. I open the trunk of Kenzie's black range rover and layed my bags down. I grab my purse and hop in the back seat.
Logan's POV
'Hey GIrly." Kenzie says to Beth, they make small talk i start too daydream. All i can think about is what i should say to Shawn when i meet him later today. I have a huge crush on him and want to leave a good first impression.
"Logan?"
"LOGAN?!"
'LOGAN MANDY WALKER!!"
I finally snap out of my daze, with the help of Kenzie and Beth. Before long we were at Maria's house. Beth went inside so she could say goodbye to Brayden. Brayden was Maria's brother and Beth's boyfriend.When Beth came back outside, her eyes were puffy and she had tears streaming down her face. Kenzie and I tried to comfort her but she wouldn't talk to us. When Maria got in the car, she seemed angry. All she said the rest of the car ride was "Drive."
Maria's POV
The rest of the car ride was silent. When we arrived to the airport we creaked are bags in and got our tickets. After we go through security and stopped at Starbucks. When we got to our gate they started boarding 1st class, we got in line and boarded. The only person I have talked to is Kenzie because she asked me why there is so much tension between me and Beth. As we walk through the plane tunnel I remembered I have to sit by Beth. When I sit down, Beth doesn't make eye contact with me. I guess she doesn't want to solve our problem. I put in my earbuds and shortly fall asleep.
Beth's POV
"I can't believe he did that to me." I say under my breath so no one could hear me. I got on my phone and started to delete the picture of me and Brayden. When tears start to fall from my eyes to arms wrap around my body. "I'm so sorry Beth." Maria says. "By the way, I slapped him in the face before I left." she said seriously and I just laughed. I'm actually glad he broke up with me, I am going to be staying with America's hottest guys this weekend, now I can hang out with them without being worried about what Brayden would think.
"Flight 411 will be landing shortly. Please buckle your seat belts and turn your electronics off. Thank you!" the perky flight attendant said.
Logan's POV
"Kenz, I'm getting nervous about meeting shawn. I have no idea what I'm going to say to him. Do I look okay? should I pull my hair up?" I frantically ask Kenzie. "Logan, you look great! Don't be nervous." she says giving me confidence.
"Flight 411 is now unloading. Baggage claim is to your right. Thank You, fly again!" the flight attendant says.
OH MY GOD. This is it, I really am meeting Shawn Mendes.
