Starlight looked at Glossaryck with a shocked look on her face and stared at him blankly before asking "what do you mean,what didn't happen in the past?" Glossaryck stopped her from asking anymore questions with his hand and said "there are many different timelines and in yours,your mom told your dad that she liked him before she went back to mewni right?" Starlight shook her head 'yes' before asking "but what does that have to deal with what happened in the past?" "You see in this timeline your mom didn't tell your dad that she liked him and that's why you must go back in time to fix it before it's too late!"
Starlight let his words sink in as she looked at her parents who were still setting up the game before turning back around to ask "but how will I go back in time?" "I will transport you and once you are there you will be able to fix the past but,you must be careful because in the past your dad was dating Jackie and if you do something in the past it could effect the future,do you understand?" Starlight shook her head as in a way to show that she understood "all right then let's get started." Glossaryck said before clapping his hands and saying some ancient words. Starlight looked around her seeing everything slowly disappearing and before she knew it everything went back.
