Pain. That is what I wake up to. White hot, and in my stomach. I can't figure it out at first. Then it all comes rushing back to me. The alley, the sudden sense of danger, and the knife being plunged deep into my torso. I open my eyes, expecting to see the white walls of a hospital, but instead greeted by a pale yellow. I look around myself. I am in a huge bedroom, with a king size bed that has 4 mahogany wood, tall bed posts and a rich green comforter. There is a mahogany dresser with a large mirror on it on the wall to my right with matching nightstands on both sides of the bed. Large windows on either side of the bed that go from the floor up about 15 feet to the ceiling. First thought that comes to my mind is: ohmygawd! I'm dead! But reality soon sinks in when I try to move, but scream from the pain instead.

The door starts opening and I panic, figuring it is the one who stabbed me. Maybe he prefers to wound his victims and then torture them later? Maybe he likes the sound of screaming?! A zillion thoughts race through my mind as the door slowly creaks open. I did a quick check for a weapon, my eyes landing on a brush on the night stand next to the bed. I quickly scoop it up with my left hand, biting back another scream as pain shoots through my whole body, fire hot, starting from the wound.

The door opens further and a little blonde head pops through the opening.

"Oh," she says. "You're awake, Master will be pleased." she has large, bright green eyes that shine like gems. Long, wavy hair with 5 shades of blonde coming down just past her shoulders. It's a natural blonde, the kind that I envy so much. She had rosy cheeks and her lips are naturally darker to make her look like she is wearing make up no matter what. She is petite, 5 feet at most and thin but not too thin. She starts to leave and I call for her to wait.

"Who are you?" I ask.

"My name is Jenneesha, but you can call me Jenna." she says with a slight shy smile. Her eyes never meet mine.

"I'm Alyssia but my friends call me Allie" I smile back at her. Still hiding the brush under the blanket. She starts to walk away and I make a move to go after her, but pain just shoots right through me instead, making everything go black.

When I wake up the second time I sense I am not alone, so I concentrate on keeping my breathing even and listen to where they might be. I hear a snuff beside me to the right and the person switches positions to get more comfortable. I open my eyes a little bit to take a look at who is there and catch sight of black socks and blue jeans. I open my eyes further and notice that he is facing away from me so I open my eyes all the way to take a better look at him.

He is tall and muscular. He has on a long sleeve shirt that's a deep blue and shapes him very well. He has the sleeves pulled up exposing perfectly tanned skin and part of a tattoo. His medium length, wavy brown hair shines beautifully in the sunlight catching his light brown and red highlights. He starts turning toward me and I close my eyes again.

"I know you are awake so you might as well open your eyes," his voice is deep and has a slight accent, though I can't place it. I take a deep breath and open my eyes.

"How did you know that I was awake," I look at him accusingly.

"Your breathing changed." he says simply. He gives me a slow smile, I notice his eyes are bright blue with a dark violet rim. I take a second look to be sure that it is violet. Sure enough, the sunlight catches his eyes and the violet shines like lavender.

He comes over and sits on the edge of the bed. The movement hurts me a little and I cringe from the pain. He reaches towards me and I try to move away from him, biting back a scream. And clenching the brush tighter.

"It's okay," he assures me, eyes soft and hypnotic. "I'm not going to hurt you." his hand hovers over my wound, not touching, and suddenly it feels tingly and warm. He removes his hand and asks me how I feel. I move and shock goes through me when I feel no pain.
