I was running. Running as fast as I could.

This couldn't be happening, was all I could think, my mind clouded by unfinished thoughts about all the things that had happened to me the last 15 minutes.

I was getting really tired, but I didn't slow down.

I was almost there now, I could see the dark cloud swaying in the air behind some other rooftops.

I took a right on the next street and stood face to face with the flaming house.

I wanted to go in, and help my family get out, but one of the firemen that had already arrived tackled be down to prevent me from doing so.

I screamed, I didn't want to just sit next to it and watch it happen!

Suddenly the man flung off from me, looking shockedly down at his hands, and backed away while shouting something.

I took these seconds to get up and rush inside.

Every single thing was on fire, it was like an inferno, and I burned myself pretty badly as I made my way to the bedrooms on the second floor.

I caughed as I breathed in the heavy smoke, and I remembered that in school they had tought us that it's the smoke that kills, not the fire.

I held my head as close to the floor as I could while heading into my parents' shared bedroom, and the door was already opened.

Inside I saw my parents lifeless bodies.

They had obviously died painfully, since they had died on the floor, and had been alive long enough to open a window.

I yelled.

I was scared, shocked, and regretful.

Their bodies were burning, but they didn't move. That's how I knew they were gone.

Their room was an inferno, and I hurried out of there before remembering my younger twin siblings.

I ran over to their door, it being in the same corridor as my parents', and immediatly noted that it was closed. Maybe they were still alive?

I opened the door, the handle burning my hand as I did. I went in.

It was full of smoke, but no fire yet.

Eunmin was under her bed, and she was staring at Seokmin, who lay unconscious on the floor right in front of her.

I quickly made her come out of there and told her to climb through the window and onto the roof. She did as I told her without protest, while I carried Seokmin out of the window and onto the roof.

But she was gone- Eunmin was gone! Had she gone inside again?!

I looked in through the window, and found her on her bed, now carrying her stuffed bunny. Her eyes were huge as she stared at the hole that had now formed in the floor. I put Seokmin on the roof before I climbed in hurriedly, and carried her this time. Eunmin was screaming as I heard something crack above me.

The roof came down on us, and I was buried in the ruins.
