Chapter 9: Exploring the human world

Hey guys!

I am SO sorry about the delay. I have had a lot of work to do since I have been back from India.

And I've got to go to NCS as well. So I have had to rush this chapter

I will make it better when I get back!

So this is another request from heathermk255!

And this request will last a couple of chapters.

"CURSE YOU SONIC!" yelled Dr. Eggman as his strongest robot， that he had spent months working on，exploded.

Team Sonic smirked at Dr.Eggman.

"Don't you ever learn Eggman? You can never defeat Team Sonic" shouted Sonic.

Tails and Knuckles nodded at this.

Eggman just growled.

"FINE! You may have won this round 'Team Sonic'. And you may have forced me to spend another month doing nothing but build robots. But I promise you，the war still goes on! I will be back Sonic!"

And with that，Eggman quickly flew away. Well，at least TRIED to quickly fly away.

Team Sonic smiled at each other，gave each other high-fives and went home.

It has been three days since Eggman attacked last，everywhere there was peace.

Well，except for Team Sonic's apartment.

Sonic and Knuckles were arguing about some trivial thing...as usual，while poor Tails was trying to get some work done on his blueprints for his planes.

But Sonic and Knuckles' arguing made it hard for Tails to concentrate.

Tails had tried to calm them down but they wouldn't listen.

So eventually，Tails had enough and took his blueprints and jumped out of the window.

He was fine of course，so he went straight to the park

And Sonic and Knuckles didn't even notice that Tails had left...

Only after 30 minutes did Sonic and Knuckles realise that Tails wasn't there.

Sonic and Knuckles panicked. Especially Sonic.

So they both started to search for him.

Eventually they found him in the park，on a bench working on his blueprints.

They both sighed out of relief.

As they both headed towards Tails，Tails looked up and saw his friends.

Thinking that they were angry at him，Tails started.

"Look guys，I'm sorry I ran off. But I needed a quiet place to work on my blueprints and-"

Tails never finished his sentence as he felt his two friends wrap their arms around him.

Tails was shocked at first but then he folded into their hug.

Sonic then said "Tails， We're so sorry that we argued. We know what happened last time me and Knuckles argued，(Author's note: I made reference to someone else's fanfiction (ForeverDream2012) on fanfiction.net， this is the fanfiction address: https://m.fanfiction.net/s/10215792/1/Taking-the-Shot. Read it，it's a really good fanfiction.) and. I know that we said that we wouldn't argue after that，but we didn't mean to make you run away."

Knuckles then said "We got so scared. We thought...we thought we lost you..."

This made Sonic hug Tails tighter.

Tails sighed. "Don't worry guys. I'm not going anytime soon. Promise."

This seemed to calm Sonic and Knuckles down as they released their hold on Tails.

They all smiled at each other.

Then Tails said “I think you guys argued because we’re not doing anything. Maybe we should just take a break.”

Sonic and Knuckles agreed.

“Yeah，I mean，we did put Eggman out of commission for about a month. So maybe we should take a break. But what would we do?” said Knuckles.

Team Sonic thought for a moment.

Then an idea popped into Sonic’s head.

“Guys. Since we're now humans，in a human world,...how about we go and explore this new world?” suggested Sonic

Tails and Knuckles both said “Yeah. That sounds good.”

“We can see if the human world is just like our world!” added Tails.

“Yeah，so we won’t be bored then” said Knuckles holding his fists together.

So it was decided. Team Sonic were going to spend the month seeing the human world.

But where were they going to go?

And more importantly，where were they in the first place?
