"Aye! Get your ass out of my fucking face!" I yell at Mai and slap her butt. She jumps.
"Dawn! I'm sorry I fell on you but calm down!" She replies and rolls her eyes.
"Don't talk sassy to me. I have a place to get to!" I set her up and the taxi driver laughs at us before telling us we have arrived. I look at the fancy hotel and fix my dress before walking in, Mai close behind. The car drives off and I look up and down the street before going in the alley nearby. Mai nods to me and we take off the dresses, putting them in my duffel bag, now we wore just a tank top and some shorts. I show the bouncer my card and he opens the iron door, the smell of sweat and axe invading my nose. I walk to the back locker room and put on some spandex shorts and a Nike sports bra. My abs stood out and I braided my hair. I grab my gloves real quick before heading out. Mai followed behind and sat near the ring.
The large man who I was to compete against smirked at me.
"Don't you have better things you could be doing? I'll give you some money for ya nails." He says teasingly. I take out my mouth guard.
"Just shut it and put em up." I pop the mouth guard back in and he obeys and we circle each other as the bell rings. He goes to hit my stomach but I block his fist and roundhouse kick his stomach. He hits my leg and I step back, letting him get up. He punches my shoulder and goes for my head but I fake a hit to his face before hitting his groin. He falls down in pain and I repeatedly kick his stomach before I'm declared winner. Mai claps and we meet each other in the locker room before I quickly shower and go get my money. $2,000. Not bad, I deserve more though. I huff and hand Mai $300 and she smiles before grabbing my bag.
"Caseys tonight?" She asks me and I nod.
"Hell yes!" She smiles and we walk the 3 blocks to the best bar ever; Caseys. "Give me a Bud light and a light alcohol Shirley." I say and throw the bartender a $20. He quickly gets me the drinks and I hand Mai the Shirley. She seems pleased and I gulp my beer.
"Aye Dawn how'd you do?" Kobi says walking through the doors into the bar. Riley follows behind, along with Carter who were play fighting with each other. They stop after seeing me and I show Kobi the money.
"Aye good job baby." He says and slaps my ass. "Damn babe you still tight." He says talking about my round butt. I smirk and shake it a little.
"So, Dawn, who'd you fight?" Riley asks.
"Falcon." I say and sip my beer.
"Damn." Kobi says and Mai perks up.
"I have a idea!" She says excitedly. "Drag racing tonight?" I nod and smirk.
"I like how you think baby girl." Kobi says to her and they kiss. Cutest couple ever.
"Let's run home real quick, Mom and dad probably already there." I say and the nod. We throw down a $10 and jump into Riley's truck.
After 20 minutes we get to my house. Mai and I run inside quickly, she changed into black skinny jeans and a crop top that said Angel on it. I throw on some daisy dukes and a badly ripped tshirt. Well, more like a muscle tee. Mai puts on some baby pink pumps and I slip on my combat boots with my leather jacket. While she does her makeup, I throw my hair into a French braid bun.
"I'm ready." I say and run to the garage. My parents had a average sized house, they spent all their money on cars.
I hop into a blue mustang, reving the engine. Mai hops in next to me and the boys go get Kobi's camaro.
I speed to the track and a large crowd is attracted. Mom and Dad are next to their Ferrari, no doubt, they just won a race. I drive up to the track, 4 other cars are beside me. All men. The skimpily dressed girl lowers the green cloth and they take off. I start of slowly, almost as if there were a speed limit and I was determined not to go above it. Before long I look ahead and the one in second bottomed out. I smirk and go faster. I drive up to the car in front of me and wink at him. His hands shake at the gesture and Mai blows him a kiss. That's all it took for him to lose control of the wheel.
I sigh as the one that was first sped up. I yank back on the stick shift and go the short cut, a abandoned alleyway. I smirk as I get back in track, in front of him. It isn't cheating, lots of people used to do it. I look in the rear view and can see the driver is struggling. I smirk and drive across the finish line. I do a quick drift turn and I get out the car, my hands raised in Victory. Number one rule of drag racing: play dirty. I wink at the defeated 3 and they sigh.
"I got a call. I have to stay with you tonight." Mai says, walking up to me.
"Sounds good, are the boys done?" She nods and I grab the money before meeting the boys. "Let's go." I say. My parents will bring home the car.
Mai kisses Kobi before we run upstairs to my room.
