His grip is firm and tight as he takes me some place... Wait where is he taking me? We've been walking for ten minutes already. A hand covers my face, I don't feel pressure on my hand. It's Tyler probably doing what some people call a "prank", I should've known.
He whispers into my ear, "There some stairs up ahead, careful."
"You know, I wouldn't need to be careful if I could see," I snap back hopefully sounding confident.
He chuckles a bit and whispers in my ear again, "Well letting you see would ruin the surprise, now would it?"
Even if I can't see him, I can imagine Tyler smile, it's just something I probably wouldn't see... Well just imagine. The stairs are slippery, very slippery. Did it rain earlier? My legs move but they don't climb, I think we made it to the top.
"We made it," He said abruptly while removing his hand from my face allowing me to see.
Ahh vision... "We are at a museum?" I question.
His face was unchanged except for his mouth which forms a small smirk.
"Of course, why not let's not waste time I want to show you around," Tyler said emphatically
Nod and smile Josh, nod and smile. I still wonder why he's acting like we've met before, like we are best friends or something even though we just started speaking today.
The guy at the gate looks surprised to see two students at the museum, he's probably just surprised that we weren't forced here. Tyler's just babbling about the paintings and statues that survived the Great Purge, I already know the history for all of them. I don't understand why he's telling me this especially because I didn't see him as the studious type. Tyler abruptly grabs my hand and pulls me into some nearby room I didn't see. We're face to face and his arm is wrapped around my waist, I feel my face start to warm up and I can barely see his cheeks turn red too. He instantly took a step back and began leading me down the mysterious hallway.
I clear my throat hoping to whisk away the awkwardness, only to ask, "What is this place Tyler? It looks old and untouched,"
"But, that would ruin the surprise," He spoke without turning around.
"We basically just met Tyler, I don't understand what your planning, but I am not going any further until you tell me what you're up to", I silently scream as I stare at the back head of a motionless Tyler.
"You want answers don't you," He spoke firmly and he never turned around.
I do want answers, it's hard to say no.
