Time Flies: A Hamilton College Fanfic: Current Times

Arriving at campus

Alexander's POV
I took a deep breath a bit nervous that I may have a horrible future in college, my past at the Caribbean I'm not wanting to talk about it though. I have come to America for a new life not to relive my experiences in the Caribbean. I grabbed my bags and entered the campus and thought what. the. heck. It was large, kids were walking around, socializing, people were already signing up for school clubs, a few minutes after scanning the lawn I got my dorm assigned, grabbing the key and finding my dorm so I could unload my stuff and then explore.

At Alexander's dorm
I walked in my dorm seeing three other guys talking, laughing and punching each other in the arms. "Uh... hello?" I said nervously, way to make a first impression Alex!, I thought. They all turned over and saw me. One was tall with dark brown curly hair and dark skin the second was the shortest of them all he was Puerto-Rican also had dark curls and had freckles. The third was African American and had dark black hair. "Hey dude" the third one said. "The name is Hercules Mulligan" the first said "Sault, mon nom est Laffeyete" he said. "He speaks English the second one said, he likes to trick people." "Oh it's no problem." I said "I'm fluent in French" I added. "Cool, my name is John Laurens" John said. We immediately got along we talked and hung out.

Meanwhile...
Eliza's POV
"We're here!" My older sister, Angelica said loudly. "Sorry if I was disrupting you!" Angie yelled across the hall. "Yay!" I said, excited for m second year here. "Well its about time!" My younger sister, Peggy said. "The walk wasn't THAT long I said opening the door for my sisters "yeah whatever" Peggy said entering our dorm. I grabbed my pastel blue luggage and walked in the room. It was nice, it had a little kitchen area, a bathroom and three doors in line at a wall, the three rooms in our cute little dorm. I walked in the middle room I said "I like this one!" I said claiming it. "And I don't care! Peggy said outside her room on the far right. Angie walked out of her room and went to Peggy and said "well someone took an extra dose of moody teenager this morning" we all laughed returning to our rooms, setting up our stuff.

Later
Alexander's POV
When my friends and I were decided to leave our dorm we walk out not looking were we where going we bumped into three girls all falling in the ground, "hey watch were your-" I fell in love, she stopped so did I she was perfect, she had gorgeous hair, amazing face that I can't even describe because she looks so beautiful. "Could you stop checking each other out and get off my spine?!" One of the girls said that was wearing a pink cardigan with a dark grey skirt. "No we weren't! " the girl said. "Mm hm" He friend said. But we all still got up straightening us up. We didn't talk after that we all just walked to the cafeteria awkwardly without saying a word.

At the cafeteria
Eliza's POV
It was dinner time and the cafeteria was full so we had to sit with those guys that literally ran into us, so much for NOT making it awkward. But the way he looked at me? And I almost said something a bit rude, he was without a doubt the most handsome person I have ever seen, his hair was a bit long and was in a low ponytail, metaphorically I was drowning in them and I am a big nerd, how is such a cute guy going to like a girl like me? "Well this couldn't get much more awkward" Angie said "so I will introduce myself, I am Angelica Schuyler these are my sisters Eliza and Peggy. We both did a friendly wave. "Well hello my name is Alexander Hamilton, this is Hercules Mulligan, John Laurens, and Marquis De Laffeyete. "And Aaron Burr!" A man said walking out of nowhere.

Alexander's POV
Aaron Burr? I said "Burr" Angelica said giving him a bit of a dirty look. "Hello my sisters!" Aaron said. "Don't call us that" Angelica said. "Why my dear" Burr said. "Ok you have made me cringe enough for the day go away!" Angelica said. Burr rolled his eyes and walked away. "If you don't mind me asking... what was that?" I said. "Oh it was nothing, we just don't like Burr well it's time for me and my sisters to start going it's getting a bit late." When I heard that I recalled having a small peice of my paper with my number on it if I could sneak it to Eliza... I thought aha! I see her purse it was across in front of me I made it look like I was tying my shoe but I put the slip of paper in her purse. After about ten minutes me and my friends left.

Meanwhile...
Eliza POV
I can't believe I didn't give him my number or anything! I just groaned and threw my purse on my bed everything fell out of my purse "ah fudge." I said picking my stuff, noticing a slip of paper I didn't put that there. I unfolded my paper and saw Alexander's number! I smiled I finished putting back my things in my purse and text him.

Eliza: Hi it's me Eliza the girl you met today!
About two minutes later he replied I squealed and then Angelica walked in my room "what's going on?" She said. " Alexander that guy I met gave me his number! Did you see the way he was looking at me?" I said smiling. "No I only saw you checking him out because my spine was getting crushed. I laughed, "anyway let's read it."
Alexander: oh hello, Eliza you looked beautiful to be honest
I squealed loudly Angie read it too "be careful with that one love, he will do what it takes to survive" she said leaving the room. I rolled my eyes and looked back at my phone.

We texted for hours until at about 11:00 o'clock
Alexander: I have had fun talking to you! Do you want to go to the cafe on Saturday?
Eliza: Sure sounds fun! Well I should go to bed this was fun bye Alex!
Alexander: bye!
I squealed loudly and ran to Angie's room "Angie! Angie! Angie!" Peggy walked in as well tired. "Eliza what are you doing up so late? It's not like you to  stay up past 10." "I don't care I was texting Alexander and we are getting coffee on Saturday!!!!" We all screamed! "I can't believe I was texting for five hours straight!!!" I said "yeah me too!" Peggy said. "Anyway I'm exhausted I'm going to bed I said, night!" "Night we all said going to bed
