I was on my last year of university, on my last term, on my last day when I got this unseen letter. In it there were instructions which I was to follow when the term had ended. That could have been great wasn't it the consequences that came from it.
Supposedly the graduation speech was to be done by me, the honor student, sure my memory was handy sometimes. The truth is that I managed to crush all the expectations everyone had for that speech. Well, you see charisma was never really my strong point even more so when all I had in my head was that damn letter. I simply couldn't stop thinking about all possibilities that would come from it. I made all the patterns that my mind managed to create, playing them thorough as well as creating all their consequences.
As you can guess this may be a great trait, wasn't it, once again, for the fact that I had to make a speech. Well I tried to think of every speech I had ever seen so far as to cover the lack of mine up, the thing is that I never got to see many of them, which made me unable to say a proper one correctly once that all I could concentrate on was that calling.
Due to that, my speech was awful making it almost possible to hear all the hopes break. Well, at least the day after that I got to discover which of my theories was right.
To my surprise the right answer was none. You see, that was when The Organization recruited me. It might seem impossible but the one to recruit me at the time was Daniels, yes that Daniels.
That was possible once that the integrants were basically him, Jack and me. I believe you can already tell who was who.
Daniels being the leader, as well as the one putting the funds in, while somehow always being a ladies man. Really, there was this one time when we were in- wait, I guess that's a story for another time.
Meanwhile Jack was the mastermind, the one that made all the plans perfect, responsible for everyone being alive, everyone except her. Jack unlike Daniels was a lovesick fool, which came in handy later on. While they may have seemed like extreme opposites many times, during many adventures, they were always the reason why everything could stand together.
"I see you did everything like we told you to."
For some reason when I heard that I felt relieved, probably due to the fact that I was finally going to learn what that letter was about.
"Well, I was intrigued and bored. So, why not?"
"Hahahaha I guess I should have expected that from our new recruit. Well, follow me and I will answer all your questions."
I know it may seem bad, yet for some reason I just felt like I could trust him so I went ahead and followed him.
