Well after an eventful afternoon, and hesitantly sharing half the cookies with Abby. Well you could tell who Abby is because she didn't want me calling her by her full name. I crashed on the couch eating the last of my sweet cookies.
I don't know what it is about that chick but I still can't get her out of my head. Speaking of girls. My sister is supposed to be one her way to Prom but she might have left already seeing as her boyfriend being scared shitless of me its understandable despite the two year age gape.
My thoughts were cut short by a knock on the door. I threw the door open to be met with the sight of Noah in silver-ish slim-fit suit and pink tie. Pink tie?!
"Sup man I'm here to-" I cut him off.
"Take my sister to prom. I know its the only thing she's been talking about all month. But just a word of advise, just because I'm in Junior year and you Senior doesn't mean I won't kick your ass if you brake my sisters heart." He gave a broad smile and squad his shoulders.
"I wouldn't have it any other way." I stepped aside and let home in. Don't get me wrong, I like Noah he's a cool guy, its just that I lost enough people in my life already and he knows that.
"Marcy!! Your future husband is here!" I called up the stares. A very noticeably blush crept across Noah's face. I would never shut up about it since he gave her a promise ring last month.
Crashing sounded up stairs, then a a loud band, and finally a thud. We couldn't help but laugh. We honestly don't know what happens but I happens every time so there's nothing to worry about.
"Give me minute!" She called before shutting her door. We shared a look before shacking our heads.
"Ten minutes" He mumbled.
"Fifteen" We both pulled five dollars from our pockets and waited.
Surprisingly her door opened a minute later and klink-klank of her heals sounded. When she reached the staircase out jaws just about hit the floor. I was met with the most beautiful sight.
There in all her glory stood what I thou to have been my tomboyish sister in a flowing pink dress with silver lining. Spontaneously both me and Noah reached out and shut each others jaws.
"Well don't just stand there. These damn heels are killing me." She whined. Noah seemed to have snapped out of his daze first and helped her down the rest of the stairs.
"You look like mom. She'd be proud you know." I gave her a hearty hug and kissed her forehead. "Now you kids take care." I tried to pull a Marry but it only sounded like a drunk old lady.
"Oh.. Hush. I'll call you to pick us up when its over. But I still think you should come, there still is the school party across the street." I shook my head.
"Naw.. sis you know I'm not one for parties." And that's the truth.
"Well fine but don't be late. Come on my love the night awaits." She said dramatically.
"Aye.. Yes. Shall a fine gentlemen ask for thy ladies hand?" He bowed dramatically. I rolled my eyes at they're little show.
"Yes he shall." She hooked her hand with his and they stared in each others eyes. It only took a moment for them to burst out laughing.
"For the love of everything cheesy. Damn guy get the hell out of my house. Times a wasting." The both gave a hearty laugh. After a tender kiss to the cheek from my sister and having to give Noah my five bucks for getting the closest prediction the left for Prom
