Alright, so this is a brand new idea and I'm not sure I'll stick with it, but please. I could use some feedback. :)
This story is also copyrighted. It's my idea, my writing, my characters...you get the point. It'd really make me happy if it didn't get stolen.
Please, enjoy? :)

Prologue:
I can honestly say there is only one thing wrong with me, and that's my ability to tell right from wrong. It isn't until the very last minute that I realize what I am doing could very will be the biggest mistake of my life, and by that point the damage has already been done.
Marrying LouisTomlinson is a perfect example of this.
Not that I don't love him, because I do. I truly do. After all, you have to be madly in love with a man to even consider marrying him, right?
I just don't want to screw this up like I did with Ben, my former husband. But part of me knows it's a little too late for second thoughts. I'm already standing here at the bloody altar, all dressed up in the wedding dress I have dreamed of owning for years now in front of a sea of family and friends, my groom staring anxiously into my eyes. Lou might never forgive me if I just back out at the last minute. Especially when I couldn't even think of a valid reason as to why.
I glance nervously at little Max - my three year old son. His dark hair was slicked back and he looked so sophisticated in his little tux. It made me smile a little. And no, in case you were concerned, Louis is not the father. Ben is, but he up and walked out of our lives two and a half years ago. All Max has ever known is me and "daddy Lou". Despite the bumpy road we've been through, he's been a real blessing in my life.
So is Lou, but I’m just not sure marrying him was such a clever idea anymore.
Why?
Because he is – or was, up until we fell in love – my best friend.
“Do you, Louis, take Valerie to be your lawfully wedded wife?”
Louis nods without the slightest bit of hesitation, “I do.”
He turns to me and brings his voice to a whisper. "You ready for this, Val?" Louis asks excitedly, giving my hand a tight squeeze. I smile up at him, but inside my stomach is churning and those second thoughts seem to want to stick to my brain like glue. I nod slightly and am about to speak, except I am cut off with the question I am far from ready to answer.
“And do you, Valerie, take Louis to be your lawfully wedded husband?”
Screw it.
I open my mouth to speak the famous two words, but the only thing that comes out is some incredibly loud wheezing sounds. The sound of laughter causes my face to flush a bright shade of pink and I find myself speechless. My stomach is twisting and turning on the inside and I could sense the desperation in Louis’ eyes.
“I...” I begin, trailing off while I muster up the courage to say what I knew was best for me and my son. “I don’t.”
