Chapter 1
MADDIES POV
I wake up to my annoying brother yelling at me , "what do you want" i say not trying to hide the annoyance in my voice
"You have to go to the movies soon duh" oh shoot i forgot. I push him out of my room and change into a floral tank top and black leggings. I put my hair up in a bun grab a jacket and go to the car. I go to Emma's house to pick her up i can see shes dyed her hair back to purple and blue. "New hair of the week?" I ask giggling
"Shut up" she replies slightly pushing me. Next stop Chris. He walks out the door and gets in the back seat of the car. Last kirens house. We drive over as fast as we can not really talking. I think Emma and Chris are texting each other even though their in the same car 😂 we get to kirstens house and she gets in the back seat. We drive to the movie theatre. "4 tickets for poltergiest please" i ask the lady at the counter. She hands us the tickets. The others went to get pop corn and i see a cute guy i smile at him he smiles back. I flush red. He turns around and walks into the movies. Same theatre as us. They come back with food and Emma and Chris are arguing about something stupid and kirstens trying to break up the fight. Her long flowey hair whipping Chris is the face as she turns her head. We get the the theatre and we take our seats. I sit between Emma and kirsten
Chapter 2
Maddies POV
Emma's all ready holding my arm really tight when the movie starts. Dear god she might kill me. "Hey em?" I whisper to her "hmm" she replies "i saw a really cute guy and he's in here
Somewhere" she gives me a look when the lights dim. It starts by them moving into a house boring stuff until the little girl gets sucked away and i think kirstens really scared. Chris is on his phone snap chatting Vanessa videos of how scared emma is. The movie ends Emma's petrified. When we walk out i see the boy again. "Hey" he says and give me a smile. I dont know if its the way his blue eyes make me melt or his golden brown hair but i really like him "Hey" i say
"Im luke."
"Im maddie"
" i saw you with your friends. I think the one girl peed her self"
Emma inturupes him
"I didn't actually thanks" she was gonna say more when she saw his friend.
"So heres my number i gotta go but she should get coffee one time" he says still smiling
I hand him my phone to put his number in.
"Well bye!" I said hoping to see him again
"Bye" he waved taking his friend with him.
I take everyone home and emma sleeps over. Shes texting his friend "whats his name?" I ask her
"Michael"
She smiles and blushing as i see texts flow in. We watch another movie knowing she isn't paying attention i turn it off and head up stairs and she follows
"Maddie?" She asks sounding serious
"Yes?" I reply trying to be in the same tone as her.
"We have a double date tomorrow no questions asked."
"But-" she puts her finger over my lip and shushes me.
"Night madds"
"Night em"
And like that i drift to sleep
Chapter 3
Maddies POV
We wake up late - thats not even gonna describe that ew had less then half an hour to get ready for our dates Em wants to wear something casual i put on a crop top that says "chill" and some black leggings. Makeup is simple as pie. Hair is just thrown up, as for Emma she wore her boho child shirt and leggings as we rushed out the door.
I started the car and drove the the cafe where mikey and luke were waiting outside. "Hey Micheal" Emma said and blushed. He whispered something in her ear and it made her turn around and tell us their going somewhere else. Fine with me more alone time with hotty over here. "Hi" i say stepping closer
"Hi" he says
We walk in and order
"So what do you wanna know" he says very cheery
"Favourite colour, last name, favourite signers where you're from"
He takes a minute to reply then he says
"Ok so , Red, Smith,im not sure and im from here"
"Ok well my favourite colour is, Lime green my last names o'day i like the old taylor swift and im from here also"
We talk for a while- 3 hours actually when Emma comes in with micheal.
"Where were you guys?" I asked out loud.
"Tattoo parlour." She says showing me her bandaged wrist.
Oh. She got a Tattoo. If it was of his name shes a stupid girl.
"What of" luke asks shyly.
"Bow and arrows." She said giving me a look as if 'if he wasnt nice to you i will kill him and make sure no one finds out how rude he was to one of my best friends' i give he an assuring look as to he was fine.
"Well this has been nice but we really gotta go luke says.
He grabs my hand and walks out with me.
He lets go and him and mike drive away.
"Emmmmaaa"
"Wut?"
" i wanna go home and chill."
"Fine, mean girls." She says as girly as possible
"Omg thats so fetch" i say acting like im part of it.
When we get home we change into sweats and sit on the couch. My brother brought his friends over so it was loud up stairs. But we turned it up all the way and sat their all day watching movies.
Chapter 4
MADDIES POV
I wake up to a few texts i check the time10:45 am.
"Pssst em" i say in a hushed whisper
"Whhhhhat" she replies grumpy
"Can we invite them over today.
"Sure" she says getting very happy very fast.
She calls them while i get ready.
Chris texted me
"Hey maddie um can you help me with something?"
"What is it?" I reply
"Well im moving out soon so can you help me move in next week"
"Sure" i reply
"Ok thanks bye."
"Bye chris"
With that i got changed into shorts and a tank top and put on some makeup. I fixed my hair while Emma got changed .
There was a ring at the doorbell.
"THEIR HERE" i announce but realizing they heard me i flush probably like a tomato.
Emma opens the door and invites them in.
Her and Michael go to her room while me and Luke talk for a while. We move closer and closer until were next to each other. I cant take it. I kiss him. Its soft he kisses back. We move in sync until someone opens the door and we jolt back. "Well i was expecting a surprise welcome back party but i get 2 kids making out on the couch realizing who it is. "AEVA" i jump into her arms. I go up stairs to look for emma i open my door a bit. She looks busy. (Not like that kinda busy like 👉👌 more like 💑 kinda)
"Im gonna go" luke says. Disappointment is taking over. I don't want him to leave. I walk i
him out and close the door behind me. He grabs my face and kisses me. Without another word he walks off and drives away
I go inside and talk to aeva
"So wheres emma?" She asks
"Shes busy up stairs with her new boyfriend"
"Oh ok"
"So how was Greece?" I ask sounding interested even though im not.
She tells me all about it and shows me tons of pictures we laugh every time we see statues
We settle down and watch scary movie 3 when Emma comes down to sit with us
"LEVA" she screams hugging aeva. A month is a long time when you're roommates.
They talk for a while then continue watching the movie Aeva is the first asleep i start to drift off at 1 am and I'm guessing Emma followed shortly after that.
Chapter 5
Maddies POV
I woke up and felt funny. I walked down stairs to greet Emma. "Morning em" i siad
No reply
She starts walking up stairs. She wakes aeva up and goes to my room and screams.
"Whats wrong?"i asked
"AEVA" she screams sinking to the ground crying.
Aeva comes running as soon as she steps in the door way she crys and screams.
Emma walks over to my bed and hugs the air. Theres blood on the air. Why cant they hear me
"EMMA AEVA WHATS WRONG" i screamed no reply.
"Maddie come back aeva said crying"
Wait.
Am i dead. Please.
This is a joke.
"Emma come here aeva said. Emma wont remove her self from my body?

"AEVA LOOK AT THE SLASHES ON HER FACE THIS ISNT SUICIDE IT WAS MURDER, SOMEONE CAME IN THIS HOUSE AND MURDERED HER."

Someones phone rings
Emma's. I peer over "unknown caller"
She picks it up and puts it on speaker.
"I got her in my hands, i got her in my hands." Someone sings with creepy clown music.
Who killed me?
She hangs up and calls 911 right away.
"My friend -sniffle- has been murdered in her room please help." She sobbs
Emma, my poor emma
She might be a little cocky at times but she cant have this happen to her. Im gone when she needs me most.
She calls Vanessa and aeva calls all the girls over
Emma calls Chris and is on the phone for a while
When finally. They call luke.
It rings and rings. No one picks up
Chris comes over first. Then Vanessa no one else wanted to come. They police came and took my body.
Chris is sobbing and Vanessa is in shock
Aevas dealing with the police and Emma locked her self in her room.
Chris called my mom. My brother came home. Everyone was here that i care about.
I go to Emma's room i see her eyes
