Malise never asked for what happened to her, she never wanted to waste her years like this. Everyone knows what vampires are right? How they're mythical creatures, and that they don't exist. Guess what? They're real.
It all started a long time ago. Let's turn back the clock. As of three-hundred years ago to be exact, 1717 was the year. Malise Blackwood grew up in a colony along the east coast. There in the colony of South Carolina, was the city of Charles Town. She worked for a family, and a particularly wealthy one.
The Stalsworth family. Mr. Stalsworth was cold alongside his wife Priscilla Stalsworth. She was equally as cold and also vain, she did not show the slightest bit of respect to anyone. Let alone any bit of kindness. Some would say that she lacked human decency.
Even knowing so Malise worked hard, she had the reddened and calloused hands to prove it. Unlike Priscilla Stalsworth even through her struggles she was still beautiful. Inside and out. Down to her sun-kissed skin and big brown eyes, and not to mention her long silky locks of brown hair.
Her looks were not the key to her beauty though, it was her kindness. Unfortunately for her it drew the attention of what lurks in the dark. It drew in the creatures that were deemed the undesirable- the undead. Someone like Emory Adair.
