Taehyung's POV

I woke up in a hospital bed. Skylar was in a chair next to me, asleep. She was wearing the suit she let me borrow as she shivered. It was really cold, it was late November, but the air heater wasn't working. I had the sheets of the hospital bed on me and a blanket on top of that. I took of the blanked, sat down and tried to put it over Skylar.

There was a clock on the wall across from me and it read 12:30 pm. The last thing I remembered was falling to the ground and Skylar screaming to her father for help.

I felt my leg and it was wrapped with a bandage. My abdomen was also wrapped up.

I heard someone yawning. Skylar was stretching her arms up in the air. She rolled her shoulders. Then she moved her head left and right. After she finished stretching, she rubbed her eyes with her fists.

"Good morning Taehyungie!" she said

Taehyungie???? Skylar never called me Taehyungie. She only called me Taehyung or Tae. This made me slightly even more confused.

"You mean good afternoon, Skylar-ah!" I said

"Oh! You're awake!" she said

"Yeah. What happened?"

"I'll explain in a bit," she said, "I'm going to the restroom."

"Yah! Meogda sipeunde! (Hey! I want to eat!)," I whined

"What do you want?" she asked

"Surprise me," I answered

After I finished eating the cereal that Sky had brought me, we sat down and watched TV.

"Um, Taehyung-ah?" Skylar said

"Yeah?" I answered

"May I ask you something?" she asked

"Ne," I replied as I nodded my head

"Why did you lie to me?" she asked, "Why did you lie about your parent being on business trips, when they are farmers?"

Shit. She found out.

"I-I thought you nor anybody else, wouldn't want me around if I told you I actually came from a less wealthy family," I explained, "The house I'm living in is actually my uncle's. He bought it for my family, but my parents refuse to move in until they pay it all off to him. They sent me here, to Seoul, so I could have a better education, but also take care of my grandmother, who is who I'm actually living with."

"But why would you think that? I don't care about your wealth, I care about you, as a person." she answered, "Another question, how come I never have seen your grandmother at your house when I've visited?"

"She takes naps, and is not easy to wake up," I responded, "Skylar-ah."

"Yes, Kim Taehyung?" she said

"I promise you something else, I won't lie to you again."
