"Who did you lose your V-card to?"
Aiden glanced around before speaking, "Lydia." Almost everyone gasped at this.
Holy crap.
Our attention turned to Lydia who seemed as if she looked uncomfortable.
"You slept with him?" Chase asked in anger.
Lyd just shrugged, "Yeah, who else would I give it to? I'm sure as hell, I wouldn't have given it to you." She snapped.
Chase just scoffed and got up muttering 'so much for relationships', slamming the door on his way out.
"Wow..." Kyle muttered.
"When did this happen?" Jack asked curiously. Clearly he wasn't uncomfortable like the rest of us.
"Last summer when I visited him in California. It just sort of happened and neither of us regretted it afterwards." Lydia shrugged, losing all emotion from her eyes, face, and voice.
Of course something like this happened between them. That's why they're so close.
"And you didn't tell us, why exactly?" I asked, feeling somewhat betrayed.
"It never came up, I guess."
I stood up with anger, "Bull shit!" I shouted.
Everyone around was staring at me with wide eyes.
"How can you- you know what, let's go talk somewhere more private." Lydia suggested standing up and I followed her out to another empty room.
"How could you not tell me?" I asked when I shut the door and turned to look at her.
"I didn't want to tell you because of what you might think of me! You'd think of me as if I was some slut or whore who goes around spreading her legs everywhere for everything with a penis! I didn't want you to be disgusted with me or - or I don't know! I know we always tell each other everything but I didn't want you to judge me without knowing my reasons." She cried, flopping onto the bed with a muffled cry.
I just stood there, watching her, "What we're those reasons?" I whispered.
She sniffed, "Aiden and I promised each other we'd give each other our V-cards when we were in seventh grade and the night of our seventeenth birthday, we just did it. We enjoyed it and we don't regret it."
"You and Aiden share the same birthday?" I asked out of curiosity.
"No, his birthday is on the 22nd of June while mine is on the 16th." She explained.
I sighed and sat down next to her, taking her hand in mine, "Why would you think I would think of you like that? Instead, I would've danced around with you while we jumped and shouted about this big step you've taken in your life." I looked at her and she gave me a small smile.
"Yeah," she sniffed, "It would've been pretty exciting to share that with you." We chuckled.
"I'm sorry." She said after a moment of silence.
"It's okay. I forgive you." I smiled at her and hugged her. She hugged me back and sighed.
"You badass, you cussed!" Lydia jumped back smirking, back to her old self, just like that.
I rolled my eyes, "Well, don't get me mad."
Lydia then became serious, "Can I ask you a qestion?"
"You just did." She rolled her eyes at my remark.
"Why do you, whenever I bring up Aiden, act distant and quite, almost like you're sad?"
