The sun shined through the small gray window. I clung to the bed as I stretched and yawned. I smelled the aroma of eggs and bacon coming from the kitchen. I didn't heard any movements or sounds. I got out of bed, Carls shirt was clinging to my knees. I breathed in his scent, fresh cologne and sweat.
I looked at the wall the picture hanging above, his smile. It was a perfect moment. I then heard footsteps and sat on the edge of my bed.
"Morning Molly." It was Carl of course.
"Morning to you too, Grimes."
His nose scrunched up.
"Breakfast is ready when you are."
He walked off and I heard him yell something.
"Today's the day we go to your house!"
I smiled and bent down to grab my shorts but they weren't under my bed.
I walked out of the room and down the flight of stairs.
"Where are my shorts?"
Lori came down the hall and handed me my clothes that I was wearing the night before.
"I washed them. They were really dirty."
She handed them to me and smiled.
"Thanks." I held out my arms for a hug. I hugged her for what seemed like forever.
I let out and walked into the kitchen to see Rick setting the table. Where was Carl?
"Where's Carl?"
"He's out on the porch."
I walked out of the front door to see Carl looking up at the sky. I shut the door scaring him a bit and he turned around.
"Hey."
"Hi, why are you out here?" I sounded concerned.
"Just letting the sun pour on me. I needed fresh air. haven't been in a peaceful world like this for a while." He looked at my shirt and smiled.
"I know, I know. I was just about to go change."
"I like it. You can keep it."
"Really? Thanks Carl." He stood and I hugged him.
I opened the door and he followed. I walked down the narrow hallway downstairs and opened up the bathroom door. I felt the knob click when I shut it. I sat my shirt, shorts, and bra down.
I slipped on shorts and pulled up my shirt to clip my bra. I put Carls shirt back on and tucked it in my shorts. My hair was messy and I ran my fingers through it. I looked presentable so I walked out to see Carl in the hall.
"Breakfast."
I ran down the hall and saw a smile emerge across Rick and Lori's faces.
"Is that Carl's shirt?"
"Not anymore. I like it." I held the soft shirt to my cheek and sat down.
I saw a plate of eggs, bacon, and piece of toast. I grabbed a fork and began to eat slowly, it was a perfect.

Once I was done, Carl walked over to his dad and mom and whispered something.
Lori nodded and grabbed a set of keys from of the cabinet and walked out. I slipped on my old converse and walked out. I saw Carl in the distance walking to a blue van, must've been Lori's car. The automatic doors opened and revealed a pair of chairs. I sat to the one farthest from the open door, Carl sitting next to me.
