I open my eyes immediately squinting due to the direct sunlight... goodness L.A. can never have normal winters. It is currently December 1st and it is still hot outside thankfully a bit cooler but come on!
"It's the first of December,"I say to myself. I let out a smile something about the holidays makes me so giddy and brings me to the best mood. Oh, all the ugly Christmas sweaters I've been saving. I run downstairs and already see my dads having their morning coffee in an ugly Christmas sweater.
Yes to confirm I have two dads and they are the most amazing parents I could ever ask for. There's Joey whom is sweet and lets me get away with mostly everything, I'd say he's like the mom in the relationship. Then there's Daniel who is much more strict but has to be because Joey is too sweet to be blunt with me.
"What's up family and Happy Holidays," I say.
"Morning sweetie, ready to go Christmas tree shopping," Joey says.
"Of course I am, I've been waiting for this for 6 months," I practically shout!
I'm glad it's the holidays only one more week of school and I'm off for an entire month great right. Daniel announces that he has made Christmas tree shaped pancakes and of course we all get excited.

After we finish eating Daniels masterpiece I head upstairs to get ready for the day. I put on a bit of mascara, fill in my brows, and smack on some chapstick. I change into my dark skinny jeans with an oversized Santa's helpers sweat-shirt.
For some reason I find myself pushing the green video chat icon leading to a video request for Shawn.. why was I doing this, I told myself I wouldn't attempt to call him because that is weird he's a stranger. I was positive he wasn't going to answer after waiting for thirty seconds, I'm very patient. Then he picks up on the last ring and at that point, I'm just staring at his face I have no absolute idea on what to say.. good one Jules good one. To my benefit, he breaks the silence first thank the Llamas.
"Soo hey why'd you call," Shawn says. I make a few embarrassing umm sounds, okay I take it back the Llama gods did not help me greatly.
"If I'm being completely honest I have no idea. I was just bored I guess you could say," I mumble.
Shawns blank expression changes to a smile, a cute one I must add.
"Well then, in that case, I can take away your boredom," Shawn says.
"Boredom... Is that even a word?" I remark watching Shawn pull out a dictionary from the looks of it. Wow, he just did not I think to myself letting out my well-awaited laugh. I watch him very closely as he starts to chuckle to himself.
"You see I am indeed right! Boredom is indeed a word. Boredom is a noun meaning the state of feeling bored. Do you need an example?" Shawn proudly says.
"Okay okay you are right there I said it!" I say. I honestly can't believe him what a dork.
"Well congratulations there is your word of the day that you can add to your dictionary up here," Shawn says pointing to his brain.
I chuckle and start to shiver did I really sleep with my window open. The sun is shining but that doesn't mean it's not freezing.
"Hilarious, wow it's freezing right now," I say.
"You're cold? How that jumper must be keeping you warm by the way, I'm loving your Christmas jumper!" Shawn says.
"Thank you, I take pride in all the different Christmas sweaters I own! They should keep me warm it is so cold in L.A.!" I say shivering.
