~David's POV~

Hell. Hell is exactly how I would describe the situation I'm in right now. Absolute dread and remorse flooded through my body that made me want to throw up. Or worse.

I couldn't feel anything. I tried to move my fingers or my legs but nothing would budge. I could hardly maintain breathing at this point.

I saw Rose there, and I couldn't believe what was happening. I can't believe I could allow this to happen.

It's at this point in which I realize no one knows what's going on. I apologize for that. A moment there I forgot how I got here. In this... situation.

I suppose it all started earlier that night. When the party began.

It was as it always was when you go to Jack's parties. The music is blaring. Everyone is having a great time.

Like usual I kept Jack company while playfully flirting with some of the other girls at our school. And I know what it looks like but honestly, and I mean it, I'm trying to do anything with them. I suppose it's sort of just in my nature to flirt if there's a girl around.

That's when we started drinking. It's not anything special, and this always happened. It's not anything important at this time but I guess just keep it in mind.

Jack was doing shots after shots and had crazier and crazier ideas. And I, of course being the tipsy idiot I was, though they were hilarious and certainly not a danger to our health.

Jack has a swimming pool in his backyard. More importantly he has a balcony that overlooks the pool. I'd say the pool was about 30 ft, and the balcony about 10 ft above it with a little distance between it and the pool.

So naturally he strapped a makeshift diving board to the balcony... anyone who has half a brain can figure out what he did next.

Yes he dove straight into the pool from the balcony. A terrible idea once you look back at it but to everyone then... it couldn't be better.

So a few more people jumped into the pool from the balcony. I still had some sense left in me, surprisingly, and just watched with Rose latched onto me.

It was at that point in the night that The Master showed up. You could hear a pin drop when he walked onto the balcony. Hands in his pockets, a smirk on his face, and a mischievous look in his eye.

The last time I saw him he was getting taken to the nurses office with a beaten face. Now it seems he's made a full recovery. Not a scratch on him.

The strange thing is what he did next. He just sat down. That's it. Just sat down across from me and Rose. Didn't even look at us, didn't even look at anyone.

The party soon got its rhythm back and Jack was trying to impress some more girls with his crazy stunts. No one wanted to talk to The Master. He may have ran the school before but now he was just feared. No one wanted to end up as his next victim.

I suppose I don't remember much of what happened next, just the usual stuff. We danced, played a few games, snogged Rose a couple of times and that's really it. Nothing special, nothing exciting, just a nice party.

Of course it was like that until the party was subsiding and my brother decided to show up. Wearing a bow tie and his friends all gathered around him, yet he seemed partially flustered when he entered he house. Like he was just in an embarrassing situation or something like that. Interesting... oh well it's not my problem anyways. I'm sure I'll hear about it sometime when he's having one of his ridiculous rants in his bedroom on his own.

Everything seemed off from the moment Matt got there. His friends were very hushed and Clara, Queen of the Juniors, never left his side. When Matt saw that The Master was there he sort of erupted.

"What the hell are you doing here?" He said with a calm rage. Funny... I'd say he'd be less terrifying if he shouted.

"Nice to see you too, Matty." The Master said to him calmly.

At this point, everyone in the room was looking at them. Just waiting for another fight to break out. Just waiting for something to go wrong. Conveniently I was in the room as well with Martha by my side.

"What are you planning?" Matt asked him, still furious.

"Planning? Who says I'm planning?" He responds coolly then looks at Clara, "looks like you've got another girl to blindly follow you around. Honestly, she must have terrible taste if she's chosen someone like you. I hope she likes being disappointed."

"You watch your mouth-!" Matt was then held back by Clara who was standing beside him. That's when he started to calm down.

The Master just snickered and smiled smugly as Matt stared at him with rage. You could cut the tension in the room with a sword.

Then Matt spoke up again, "don't ever... talk about my friends like that again."

Then he turned and walked away, Clara following after him. The Master laughed quietly as Matt left the room. A silence came over the room. No one dared speak after that episode.

But again the night kept on going. The party that refused to stop.

The only thing I remember next is Jack running through the house naked with a few of his other friends on the baseball team. After that we didn't see him again. That's usually like him at a party though, makes a grand exit and we don't see him until morning.

But then... that's when it happened.
