She would notice him every time he walked by. He emanated confidence to her, screamed adversity. She pushed her glasses up a little higher, adjusting her lens to see his figure clearly. She always wanted to talk to him, but never quite mustered the courage to. As he walked into the swarm of friends surrounding him, she lowered her gaze, wondering if he would ever notice her. She wondered if things would ever change.
hi guys! thank you for clicking the read button for Slippery Hearts; it means a lot. i hope you enjoy the content of this story just as much as i enjoy crafting it for you. some parts of Slippery Hearts have been developed from a dream i had, so reciprocating this into a working story might be a challenge, but it is a challenge i am willing to accept! this book will most likely be a short story or novella, but if it meaty enough, i might develop it into a detailed novel.
