The snow elegantly fell with each step she took, covering her in a thin coating of camouflage. Her breaths like the puffs of a winter born dragon. She ran. The trees flew past her, their thin, pale frame matching hers. Her dress blended with the snow around and her hair was plastered to her face. Her bare feet were frozen and blue, her hands no better. Behind her a vibrant red billowed out, scraping across branches and twigs as she continued. She turned her head, her small features and green eyes stared out, fear coursed through her aching joints, propelling her deeper into the woods.
