We Have Chemistry | Brothers Conflict [DISCONTINUED]

Congrats you guys! You did it (On a different chapter, it's fine.)! My new proposal is once you hit 50 likes it's an immediate update and I mean RIGHT when you hit 50. I'm telling you, I'm always looking.

Once the party was over and done, a few of the brothers stayed in the living room pulling out numerous bottles of alcohol and setting it on the small wooden table in front of their large TV.

As Enri was climbing the stairs to get to the steel elevator at the top, a sing-song voice disrupted her walk making her turn her head towards the source.

"Enri-chan!" A silverette called, his eyes an alluring shade of violet. "Come join us!"

As Enri recalled, his name was Tsubaki, a 24 year-old voice actor who was occupying the seat adjacent to his supposedly twin brother Azusa although the two looked nothing alike besides their facial features and their similar violet eyes.

The scarlet-haired scientist scanned her eyes over the rest of the bunch sitting on the couch. Accompanying the two twins on their drinking night was the birthday boy, Subaru and the 27 year-old monk, Kaname, whom Enri still had mixed feelings about.

Although she didn't drink too often, Enri was tempted by the curiosity of getting to know her future brothers better, to see if they were good people or not.

"Alright, in a minute." Enri replied, finishing her journey to the top of the stairs and hitting the [ Up ] arrow on panel to the right of the elevator. "Just let me change out of my work clothes."

Once in the elevator, the ocean-eyed 27 year-old pushed the button for her floor before strolling through the hallways to get to her door. Along the way she met a certain chocolate haired pediatrician who was exiting Wataru's room after tucking him in.

"Masaomi-kun!" Enri exclaimed, pleasantly surprised by his sudden presence. "Enri-san." Masaomi said, acknowledging her with a smile.

Realizing that the two were just smiling at each other in the hallway, Enri allowed herself to refocus. "Have a good night Masaomi-kun. Sweet dreams." She said, waving goodbye.

After the encounter, Enri unlocked the door to her apartment room, fishing through her drawers for more comfortable clothes.

After she was finished changing her attire, Enri exited her room, once again riding the elevator down to the living room floor and positioning herself on the floor, sitting on the carpet in between Subaru and Kaname's legs.

"Nee-san," Kaname began, taking a sip of the alcoholic drink in his hand. "Why're you sitting on the floor? Come sit." He motioned for her to take a seat next to him on the edge of the couch.

Once she obeyed, the blonde monk handed her a shot glass filled with vodka. When she consumed the burning drink, the other brothers beside her cheered her on as she got another shot, gulping it down once more.

"Slow down nee-san, we haven't even gotten started!" Tsubaki laughed, taking a shot himself.

As the night continued on, Enri found herself enjoying the presence of the loud and cheerful Tsubaki, giggling at times when Azusa had to elbow him to calm him down.

Without her even noticing, Enri had consumed way too much alcohol making her head spin as she tried to get up to back to her room.

"Oi, nee-san, where're you going? We've just started!" Tsubaki exclaimed, his words a bit slurred as he too was drunk.

"No thanks... T-Tsubaki. I'm wasted right now and I still have w... w-work tomor... rwrw--" Enri began, her words coming out almost incoherent.

When the red-head tried to take another step away, her feet tripped over themselves causing her to fall backwards. Before she could land, the 27 year-old turned her body so she was facing the floor so she wouldn't injure her back. However, the floor and her face never met as she ended up in someone's lap, straddling the person as her forehead laid on their hard chest.

"Nee-san, you're so bold!" Said a rich, deep voice that sent chills down Enri's spine. "Kaname-kun.." Enri whispered, suddenly regretting the decision to join them for drinking.

"It's not what you think.. I just tripped." She said, trying to explain the situation as she pushed his chest away from her.

"I'll get goi--" the atomic/chemical physicist was out cold, her breaths even as her head laid on top of the man's shoulder.

"Ah, little scientist, no matter how much I'd love to stay in the position forever," the blonde said, beginning to stand up as he repositioned the woman in his arms so he was carrying her bridal style, "I must get you to bed."

"Kaname-nii, don't do anything, okay?" Azusa said, sternly looking the flirtatious man in the eyes as he crossed his arms together.

With a feigned expression of hurt, the monk began to make his way towards the staircase saying, "Dear brother you hurt me! For you to think I'd harm our precious sister like that!"

His mocked expression faded away as he looked ahead seriously. "But don't worry, I can't do that to her. I mean, it's Enri after all. Even if she doesn't remember me, I won't forget her. I don't think Ukyo-nii or Masaomi-nii have forgotten either." He said, a small smirk drawn on his lips.

"Oh dear, things have gotten quite messy, don't you think?" The 27 year-old muttered, talking mostly to himself. "Quite messy indeed."
