Chapter Thirteen: Searching

-=- 30 Minutes Later -=-
It's like looking for (P/N) all over again, but this time with Herobrine! I can't ask Scar for help because he's on duty which suck because all you have to do it just stand there and keep guard, but it's his job so I can't blame him for that. I searched the same places me and Herobrine were when we was looking for (P/N). I decided to go up the tower, even though I might fall back down the stairs it's worth the risk.

I finally made it! It took longer than I thought it would of... but anyways I walked up to the guarding post where Scar would be, but Scar wasn't there neither was Herobrine. I am starting to get scared now. What if something happened to the others? This time, I quickly rush down the stairs without tripping over and made it to the bottom. I ran around the castle hallways looking and looking, but nobody was found.

"Herobrine?" I call out. No answer. "Endy?" I call out. No answer.
"Chris?" I call out. No answer.
"Zoey?" I call out. No answer.
"Scar?" I call out. No answer.
"Sharlett?" I call out. No answer.
"Max?" I call out. Not even a high-pitched answer.

I'm trying to think of who else I could call out to. I think and think until I suddenly know who to call out to.

"Cutie?" I call out.
"Yes?" Cutie answers back. Finally! An answer!
"Where are you?" I question.
"In the washing room! It's to the right!" She answers. Ah! That's what I forgot to check, even though I don't even know Herobrine had one and I thought it would be called 'kitchen.' I run up then turn right to see a door slightly opened and I hear bubbles popping. I open the door to see Cutie washing clothes and scrubbing them in a bucket of water filled with bubbles and soap. I walk up to her nearly out of breath. "Do you know where the others are?" I question because I really want to know.
"They are probably having one of their meetings. As I'm not aloud, all I have to do is clean, clean and more cleaning!" Cutie says while dunking a ripped cyan shirt into the bucket. "Do you know where the meeting is?" I question. Cutie stops scrubbing and looks at me. "I don't think I'm aloud to tell you that (Y/N). A meeting for Herobrine is top secret."
"Oh please, Cutie I need to know. Herobrine looked sad as he walked out the door and I want to know why." I whine.
"(Y/N) I wish I could, but I can't, I'm not allowed as I am told otherwise I would lose my job for good!" Cutie cries. I sigh, but give a small smile.
"It's okie, I'll wait for him." While saying this I pat Cutie's back, she smiles and I walk out of the washing room, closing the door behind me. As soon as I close the door, I carry on searching for their 'secret meeting.'

I was still searching and thinking that I couldn't find Herobrine and the others until I found this weird-looking door that was carved like an rose on the front. I decided to walk in and see if there was any sign of glowing white eyes. Unfortunately, I didn't find them, but I found a fancy looking library instead. Lots and lots of shelves were piled with mountains and mountains of books. Before I was bought into the world on Minecraft, I would always watch with my family murder mystery movies where there would always be a killer on the loose and a young girl became a detective and solved the mysteries. One episode was where the killer left footprints into a dark cellar underground and the girl followed them to find her parents trapped in a cage. At the end, she saves them. The killer was no where to be seen though. Just me thinking this makes me want to see my parents again. They probably miss me like mad.

Suddenly, I heard crying coming from behind the bookshelves. It sounded like a man. From the sound of this crying, it sounded like he was being tortured. Then I hear screaming. I get startled as I hear lashes on the skin. It makes a chill go down my spine. I really wanted to help the poor man, so I tried to find a switch that would open the doors. I read all of the titles of the books. There were books like: "How to craft a poison potion", "How to find diamonds easier and quicker", "The tales of the archer" and there was this one book which was so dusty, it read "The Prophecy". Something inside of me was feeling like this was the book where the switch was at. I flipped the book and suddenly doors open which lead to a long stairway down, with mossy cobblestone walls and cobwebs filling the holes in the ceiling.
