Chapter 10 - You're Gonna Go Far, Kid.

It was finally time. Did we convince them? I hope so. I got out of my nest to see if we've convinced the Pokémon in the cavern.

"And now we ban this one from our dimension, Gengar go away." Looks like we lost. We failed our mission. Teh Pokémon backed us out of the cave and chased us for miles. They definitely wouldn't give us a warm welcome if we came back. Lovania must've known this would happen, as she left some markings in the wall that said, "You're gonna go far, kids. - Lovania," this morning.

We had no choice but to leave Kanto. I couldn't swim, Ryu didn't like water, and Darkheart had a bad history with water. I remembered that there's more than that cave! We could go around Kanto from the North to go to Johto! I found a Pokégear with a map! Kanto, as it turns out, is surrounded by water. Damn it. Now how were we going to get through the regions.

A trainer riding a Lapras came by. "Need a ride?" Wait... This trainer was just giving us a ride? I knew humans couldn't normally understand Pokémon, but I asked him, "You're not going to capture us?" He actually heard me say something other than my species name. "No. I'm trying to liberate Pokémon from trainers. Now hop on, those Pokémon back there look like they don't want to be friends." This human could understand Pokémon. He was a mysterious green haired boy. He kind of reminded me of the Pokémon Zoroark. A strong storm was stirring up and we got knocked off course. We did reach land safe from human interaction. When we got there, the strange trainer with thunder in his eyes told me, "You're gonna go far, kid." He had to head to Unova. I kinda missed him but we had to keep moving. We went through many caves, eventually to learn the Pokémon were trying to fight Articuno for freezing the whole place. They kept being defeated and Articuno fully healed itself between each match. There were teams of four who couldn't beat it. We decided to calm the raging Articuno through a battle even though we had no items on us. When we walked up to Articuno, I felt the snowy air on me, but there was no turning back.

"Who are you?" Articuno asked.

"I'm Killer. These are my friends, Ryu and Darkheart."

"Remember these names for the graves."

With that, out battle began. It was a long clash. I used tackle, Darkheart used shadow ball, and Ryu used tackle. We weren't very strong. Darkheart went behind Articuno and used shadow ball, causing Articuno to stumble, as well as making the beast bleed from the vast amount of power. This was our chance. Ryu and I tackled Articuno in the legs, making it fall on its stomach. I used my bone club, pressing it down on Articuno's left wing, pinning Articuno to the ground as Ryu pulled its tail and Darkheart ripped the other wing with powerful bite attacks. Fire burned in my soul, I felt like we almost defeated Articuno. Not long after I got this feeling, Articuno was defeated.

"Hey, kiddos. I'd like to tell you something." It was Absol. I feel like I've seen him. "I've been watching over you for your whole life. Now I should tell you something. I'm your father." How the fuck is my father an ABSOL of all things? I thought for a few moments. "Anyways, I have a song for you."

This was gonna be good.
