Lisa's POV

I wake up by a call on my phone. I answer the phone not even checking who was calling me so early. It's barely 6:00 am.

     "Hello?" I rub my eyes.

"Lisa!" a familiar voice utters in a worried tone.

"Oh, hey! How are you HaeSoo? How is my mom?" I say as I put the speaker on. "Is Everything okay?"

"Lisa, your mom just had another heart attack! Worse than the first one!" My best friend cries and hiccups.

I throw my blanket off me sitting up straight. I wasn't drowsy anymore.

"My mom?" I manage to say from my dry throat. I wanted to scream. I wanted to say more but I wasn't able too.

     "Hello?!"

"Lisa?! Are you still with me?"

I throw my phone on to the floor. I couldn't listen to anymore.

"I just wish you were here." Hae-Soo whispers lastly before she hangs up.

I zone off staring for hours. I couldn't think. I was just lost right until I started to hear someone ring the doorbell. I look around hearing someone calling my name. I couldn't open the door. I didn't have the strength to. I forced my body to stand up because that person still doesn't leave. I open the door wide not checking who it is. I stare down at their shoes.

"Lisa? Sorry, I couldn't come to you any sooner. You got my worried for not answering quickly. Are you okay?"

"Amber." I use my last strength to hug her. I needed someone right now. Without any warning, my tears started to flow down.  All the pain I've been holding is being shown to Amber.

"Lisa?" Amber whispers to my ear as I lay my head helplessly on her shoulder. She closes the door behind her taking me to the nearest couch. "It's okay to cry. Let it all out. I'm here for you."

I look at her while wiping my nose and tears. She hands me tissues that were beside her. "My mom-" I couldn't control my hiccuping. I never cried so hard before, but Amber waits patiently. "My mom just had another heart attack." I watch her eyes widen.

She pulls me into a hug. "It's going to be okay." she pats my head. "Right now you need to get to your mom as soon as possible, and I'll help you." She pulls me back holding my shoulders. "I'll help you pack and book a ticket. Don't worry, Ill pay for your ticket. It's the least I can do right now. I can't watch tear apart here"

I start to sob more hugging her tightly. I look up at Amber as my oldest sister, but she never saw me cry before. She is 24 years old, and she has helped ever since I moved to LA.

"I just booked a ticket for tomorrow afternoon. Delta Air Lines and it's a direct flight. It's Summer vacation so each airplane is really packed." Ambers yells from my living.

I try to pack what I need but I can't seem to focus and Amber seems to notice.

     "Let me help."
