Chapter 1: A New Beginning

Raindrops smacked on the glass windows as Thalia woke up. Her hair so messy and face so pale from sleep. She got up and took a bath, brushed her teeth and went downstairs to see her dad cooking breakfast for her.

"Daddy?", she looked at her dad with a little yawn. "You're still at home? You have no work for today? I thought you still had papers--", her dad went to her and gave her a tight hug. "Its still morning, yet you have alot of squabbles to say.", he smiled at her daughter and continued.

"Dont worry about work, darling. Come. Eat. You've got alot of things to do today; if you remembered."

Thalia sat down and thought about what her dad told her just now. "Can you give me a clue about what I am supposed to do today daddy?", she asked while taking a bite from her sandwhich.

"You have school today silly!", he answered with a huge grin on his face. "Hahaha, dont tell me you forgot about it! Now that you're off to a new beginning! You're in gr 11 now, Lia!", her dad laughed hard because of the thought that Thalia did forgot that it was her first day of class.

"I've already notify the people in work that I would be late today since I would really want to drop my Lia in her first day at school."

At first, Thalia thought it was too OA for her dad to do that but she smiled, giggled and appreciated for the kind doing of her dad.

Time passed by and it was already half past 9 am. Thalia was late. She hopped out of her dads limo and kissed him goodbye. She ran inside and without noticing a guy who passed right infront of her causing them to bump eachothers head pretty hard and both butts were on the floor.

"I am sooooooo soooo sooooooo sorry! I didn't mean to hit you! I mean, I'm so late right now and--", the guy placed his finger on the lips of Lia and smirked allowing her to paint a little blush on her cheeks.

"You dont need to explain.", the guy said. "Its obvious that you're late since you were running fast.". Lia smiled awkwardly at the guy and brushed her bangs away from her face.

"I'm glad you knew.", Lia stood up and so as the guy.

"Anyways, since we both are such early birds, why dont we just go in together?", the guy patted his hand on Thalia's shoulder and gave her a wink. Lia giggled and nodded. They both went in together, walking.

"I'm Chad, by the way."

"And I'm Thalia." They both faced eachother and shaked hands.

Please keep reading :) I know its a very short chapter to start with and so as chapter 2 & 3, but it gets interesting and much longer chapters ;)
