The bell rang and students rushed out to go home or hang out with friends. Thalia got her bag and stood up. Once she turned around she gasped to see Chad's face popped out of nowhere. "Hey, whats up? Going home already?" Chad asked as Lia passed right beside him. "Yes. I'am. I still have to study."

"Study? Seriously? Its still the start of class. You need not to study yet."

"What if I just want to?"

"You're crazy, Thalia."

"Am not."

"yes you are."

"Ugh. Whatever. I'm not wasting my time on you." Lia continued to walk until Chad got a hold of her arm. "I just wanted to have a little chat with you to get to know you more..." Chad slowly put his arm down and stared at Lia. Lia smiled awkwardly and heaved a nod.

.....

"So where are you from?" Chad asked. "I was born in Melbourne, Australia but was raised in Kyoto Japan." Thalia replied with a sweet smile on her face. "I lived in Tokyo for about 15 years."

"15 years!? Seriously!??" Chad gasped and raised an eyebrow at Lia, causing her to laugh at Chad's immature response. "Yeah. I'm serious."

"Well, thats a long time. So you speak Japanese well?" Chad asked a question again. Lia let out a frown and replied, "Well, tbh, I dont," Lia looked up at the sky and went silent for awhile. "Even though I was raised in Japan, I was home schooled and never was taught to speak Japanese."

Chad stared at Lia and smiled at her. He sat up and said, "Well, that must have been difficult for you." Lia shrugged at his answer and replied, ",not really though. Even if I was raised inside a prison at Japan, I got used to it anyway." Lia let out a grin in her face when she saw Chad's expression; his mouth wide open. "Prison!? Seriously!!??" Lia stood up and glared at Chad. Then she chuckled. "I was just kidding, silly!" Chad let out a smirk on his face and tickled Lia.

"Heeeey! What was that all about??" Lia said laughing. Chad smiled at Lia, allowing her to blush all of a sudden. "C'mon. I'll drive you home." Chad grabbed Lia's arm and led her to his car.
