Bane pulled out the chair at the other end of the long table. Emily danced a little sexy awkward dance up to Bane. All she wanted to do was make Bane laugh, that was her mission over the last two days, and so far, she hadn't had a huge success. As she reached Bane, she turned her back against him and shook her hips and rubbed her hand in her hair, and flicking her head around. She started to feel his chest vibrate and she knew that she had cracked him! Emily turned back to face him and grabbed his hands. She moved his arms back and forth. Bane lost it and started laughing hysterically, and made Emily laugh also. She was so proud of herself that she finally made him laugh. A man walked through huge double doors with a plate of food. Emily quickly let go of Banes arms as she smelt the heavenly smell of curry. Bane walked back to the end of the table that he had pulled out a chair previously. Emily walked in front of him, her head held up high with pride. She took her seat and started eating as Bane took a seat next to her. A man walked in, armed with a gun in his right hand, wearing a suit with a bullet proof vest. He moved towards Bane and handed him a piece of paper. Emily tried to read Banes face but couldn't figure out if he was mad or contempt. Moments later Bane stood up and the suited man left. Emily looked up at Bane, who was holding out a hand for her. Emily stood up and slowly looked up to his eyes.

"I must go and attend to a," Bane paused for a moment. "Situation." He looked up and turned away quickly, stopping just before the door. "I hope you enjoyed dinner." As he left, Emily looked around the room, suddenly feeling very lonely. She crossed her arms over her chest instinctively as a woman walked in.

"You must be Emily, Bane has told me so much about you," the lady kissed Emily's checks and motioned for Emily to exit the room. As the lady shut the door behind them, Emily asked.

"I'm sorry, you are?" The lady placed a hand behind Emily's back and gently pushed her forward.

"My name is Talia. Bane is my friend, my protector, but ever since he met you, he has been different." Talia led Emily back to her room and pushed her into the room. "Ever since you've been here, he has been putting all his attention in you." Talia smirked and closed both the doors. Emily ran to the doors but found that they were locked. She turned around, leaning on the doors, and she felt like she was trapped and alone. She slid down onto her bottom and let her emotions show.

It had been several days since Emily had seen anyone or eaten anything, when there was a knock at the door. Emily was lying on the bed, hugging a pillow. Bane enter the room and searched for Emily, a sad look on his face when he spotted her. He swiftly moved to her and sat next to her. She leaned away from him and almost fell off the bed. "Bane please don't."

"Em, what's wrong?" Bane moved closer to her and placed a hand on her hip.

"Your friend needs your attention more than me. Go to her!" Emily yelled and turned over. Bane stood up and left the room to find Talia.

A while later Talia entered the room carrying a gun, holding it at Emily's head. Emily turned over to look at Talia. "I'm sorry Emily, but he doesn't want your blood on his hands. So I volunteered to take it into my own hands." Emily placed a hand on Talia's and whispered,

"Talia, it's okay, I understand." Emily closed her eyes. Talia moved the gun down to Emily's stomach and started muttering, 'it's the slow knife, the knife that takes it's time, the knife that waits years, the knife that slips quietly between the bones.' A loud bang startled Bane, causing him to run to Emily's room. Talia had already run away, leaving Emily in a pool of her blood.

"Emily, who did this? What happened?" Bane lifted Emily's head to his chest, placing pressure on her wound.

"Bane, it's okay, now everything is better." Emily let out one last breath, a tear rolling down her cheek. Bane pulled her body into his chest and broke down.

"You can't leave me, I love you!" He cradled Emily's body in his arms and held her close. "You were the only one to ever see through me, you made me feel so special." Bane stayed in her room all night, holding her body.

A man came to the door, "It's ready." Bane lifted Emily's body, and walked to the backyard, placing her on a white sheet. Two men wrapped her body up and stepped back away from her.

"Born from two different places, were meant to end in the same. No one would have thought that someone from wealth would care for someone from prison." Bane lifted her body into a hole in the ground, and looked up, an angered look in his eye.
