We all call ourselves good honest people when we lie everyday.
"Hi! How are you?"
"Good."
Lie."How are you doing?"
"I'm good."
Lie."Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine."
Lie.Through all these lies we say, we know that no one wants to know the truth. No one cares to know the truth. We mask ourselves with these words of good, okay, fine when they slowly make us invisible.
We float through our lives with everyone else. Filling the voids with things we find amusing. Laughing to pretend like those problems don't exist. Putting on that smile before entering the room.
