"Ravi what are you doing here? You were supposed to be in Ninni's room. She is about to go for a major surgery." I told one of my staff who was loitering around instead of working, his mobile phone in his hand.

I am sure he'd be forwarding latest porn videos to his friends.

"Uh unmmm.. " he almost stood startled "yeah sure. I .. I " he stuttered rising suspicions "I was here to pick ..."

"Are you okay?" I asked, "Why are you sweating?"

I knew the exact reason why since one of the workers were expelled earlier for exchanging dirty videos during work hours.

"Yeah yeah I am fine" he wiped off his sweat beaded forehead "I have been in hurry since morning' his tone sudden confident and less conscious 'there is lot of stuff to be done, a lot of staff is absent today and again the conditioning is not working." He said before rushing towards the stairs a small package in his hand that I couldn't decipher what it was.

"Wait Ravi" I shouted "what are you.."

But before I could find out "Dr. Sandeep you are specialist in pediatric cancer right?" a very experienced doctor from the hospital staff "dr. Seth asked

"Yes sir" I replied affirmative.

"Do you have some time? I want to discuss something with you.

Without thinking I replied happy to be useful "Sure thing. Your cabin?"

He patted me on my back "yes my cabin and Miss. Patricks will also love to see you.

Miss. Patricks is a middle aged fat nurse who is employed in his department.

She is been there since I was a kid always ready with a lollipop for me whenever I used to turn up with dad to the hospital.

She had been with us since the hospital was a mere small polyclinic and had been very affectionate towards me.

"Hey lovely Lolly" I greeted Miss. Patricks

"Sandy' she shouted at me excitedly pulling me for a hug "so good to see you in the hospital. I have missed you."

"Me too. But why have you lost so much weight?' I remarked jovially to the overweight nurse who looked plump yet cute with her massive figure.

"You don't know?" she upped with the game I was playing "I am planning to participate in the beauty contest this year" she joked "and if I make it to the finals you are going to be my dance date" she continued flirting healthily.

'I doubt" I said thinking absently "only if I get the post date good bye kiss Miss. Lolly?"

'Same as usual" she nodded slapping me softly and lovingly on my cheeks, "here's your lolly"

"And that too bubble gum flavor" me and Lolly said in unison earning a loud laughter from Dr. Seth as I joined him in his cabin.

"I have a patient although he is 20 by now but he had cancer when he was only ten. Do you think once cured the luekaemia can relapse?"

After thorough discussion and examination I was elated to conclude that "With chemotherapy the cancer cells went on a sleep mode and they do wake up years later. We call them doramant cells." I explained and then adding a positive note I stated "however the reports and results are promising I think we are on right direction"
