Cold and refreshing was the water. My feet were submerged in the river hidden in the forest of the resort. I'm standing. Alone. My white dress fluttered by a sudden breeze passing through.

I don't remember how I got here. Or where the others were. All I know is that my feet brought me here on their own and that, this place was calling me.

I can see a waterfall further in the distance. My body wanted to go there. My mind, there was something that was pulling me to go to the end. An attraction far too strong to be ... normal. My shoes and hat were on the ground that was covered with such fertile grass.

"This is no coincidence," I told myself.
"And it isn't normal."

I knew that I'm not supposed to take another step towards the waterfall. I know that I'm supposed to stop walking and just turn around and go back.

But it's so beautiful here. I felt at peace. Like I belonged here. This place is my home.

My body was now underwater with just my head and shoulders above water.

The whispers got louder as I neared the waterfall. A light caught my eye. And the whispers stopped.

There was just endless ringing in my head. Everything was still.

As I brought my hand up to reach the shining object, someone called my name. But it happened too fast and I was too late.

The earth opened up at my feet and I felt nothing and everything at once.
