Chapter One?

Any writer will tell you that coming up with a story is easy- you come up with an idea, flesh out a few characters, sit down and start to write.

But it's maintaining the story that takes dedication.

I cannot begin to tell you how many ideas I've had, started, and then gone, "What am I doing with this?" before giving up. That's why I have so many Chapter Ones.

Hating to see anything go to waste, I've re-jigged a few chapters and gone on to write a full blown story, sometimes in a different format (Hello, for example) but the rest have languished in folders on my desktop, never seeing the light of day again.

Not anymore! I've decided to publish a few of the Chapter Ones for you to read and see what you all make of them. Some are horrendous (I'm talking about the early AND the later stuff) while some are not so bad but not so good either. They're just middle of the road. One or two I quite like, I just don't know what to do with them.

Anyway, enjoy the reads!

Sarah, xx
