Chapter One: Test

Chris' POV

As I woke up I felt nervous about what will be happening later. Nervosity struck me because I realised I was already thirteen. 'Breakfast is ready!' mom yelled and I just nodded. 'You have a big day today I know you can get through this'. I wondered as I looked into mom's dark brown eyes I said 'Why aren't you nervous for me mom?' mom chuckled and said 'I was in Serene, and there is a big chance you will be one too' I smiled and left. I rode the train going to Marvale City. The train was old, rusty and looks like it's going to break soon. As I arrived the trainers collected children that were ages thirteen. I guess those who were older are already in the next stage. 'Alright, today we test on what group you all will be and rule change, our tests will decide on what you will be in meaning, its not your decision to be Audacious, Astute or Serene.' our trainer Tony said. We were all injected with some sort of serum. I woke up in a forest. I wandered te place and I fell into a cliff and I was surprised nothing happened to me. 'This is just a test' I told myself'.

Tony's POV

I looked into the screen and seeing all the children under the effect of the the serum. They were sleeping. We take control of their dreams and made the test. Everyone is in the forest and here their instincts will bring them to their realization of being a Serene,Audacious or Astute. There were twelve thirteen year olds here. 'Bring in the wolves' Tori, the head of this cities test and also the mayor of Marvale City which used to be New York. As I pressed the button bringing the wolves as a test. Each children will have to find a way to survive. Tori left saying 'Please take over and let me know the results'. I looked on the screen and were down to four children. A tough looking one just simply stabbed the wolves with a nearby branch, he was then brought back and marked him Audacious. Then back to the screen, a redhead escaped the threat through by making a distraction, threw a rock on a tree making wolves turn their attention to it then escaping by climbing a vine... Astute. Then a nerdy looking boy simply talked to the wolf like it was a dog and said 'Its just a test' then chuckled as he pats the wolf, Serene. Then this boy, that boy is just... different.

Chris' POV

The wolves are gaining on me I have to think fast! I saw a rock, a pointy one. I used the rock and stabbed the two wolves quickly and I climb the tree behind me. One wolf left, and I still have another pointy rock but I left instead of thinking of killing it and said to myself 'This isn't real'. Minutes later I woke up and no mark and saw the others having theirs. Tobi was Audacious, Sam was Serene and Jen was Astute. But what am I? Then suddenly Tony glared at me seeiously and told me 'We need to talk'. Then I followed and wondered at the same time why am I not marked?
