Breast plate hits the ground.
The sound, it echoes around.
They can't hear. Deaf. To much sound.
I say.
Sharp iron to thy chin.
Swallows thy fear down, can't breath in.
pinned to the ground. To much sound, to much sound!
I say.
Solid iron casing wizzes by.
Hit the ground once more too fearful to cry.
Another, right near thine eye.
I say.
Sand bags piled high. I jump behind.
Others on ground, not moving nor making a sound.
Bright colors. Red, black, dust, debris, hacking spree, can't breath.
I say.
Avenge thy brethren. Unsheathe. Mettalic clank against another. Sharp. Sharp pain. Thyist down.
I say.
Sounds diminished. Peace arrives. No more aveng-ed. My duty has ended. No more tears to cry.
I say, I say.
Thouist peaceful forever. Today.
