I smiled through my tears as I watched that green haired weirdo screamed at the camera, talking to us. I was watching one of his 'reading your YouTube comments' videos. The next comment asked about how Jack felt when fans came up to him crying about his videos. It felt like he was talking directly to me when he answered.

"I love it, actually. And it's not because they're crying or anything like that, but it's why they're crying. 99% of the time, they're crying because the videos mean something to them. People come up to me, telling me that I've saved their lives with my videos and not only does it make me happier than fucking cookies and cake, but it breaks my fucking heart. I love every single one of you guys and I want you to tell me what it means to you. If you ever meet me, and want to tell me something like that, please do. I don't know if you guys know how much it means to me that I make a difference to you." I could swear that there were tears in his eyes while he spoke.

He finished the video after a few more comments and and when he did the outro, I nailed it along with him, tears flowing down my face. After such an emotional video, I went to load up one of his Happy Wheels videos, while the reading your comments video was still playing in the little square. After the outro, Jack announced that he would be going to a con that I was looking forward to going to. I cried even harder at the news. I had the rare chance to get to meet the man who'd saved me from loneliness for years.

..........
At the con

I smirked to myself as I looked in the bathroom mirror, doing my final touches on my cosplay. I was playing as Happy from Fairy Tail. My little green backpack was even filled with packs of Swedish fish. I smoothed down my outfit and walked into the hotel. I saw that there was a Doctor Who tent and I walked over. I bought a journal just like River's and walked away. After that, I mostly just mulled around the Con, gawking at the intricate Cosplays. I even saw a couple playing as Natsu and Lucy, so naturally, I went up to them and took a selfie, giving them both a bag of Swedish fish.

After a lot of walking, I found a Rick and Morty tent, and I went over, bubbling with excitement. I ended up buying a portal gun, a meeseeks box, and of course the VR game. After Jack's videos on it, I couldn't resist.  Knowing that I would spend the rest of my money there if I didn't get away, I turned to leave, immediately bumping into someone.

"Oh shite, I'm sorry." The voice from the person I assaulted was wonderfully familiar. I looked up to see Jacksepticeye himself looking down at me. I covered my mouth to keep an involuntary gasp/sob from breaking through. I stumbled through my shocked brain to find the words to say.

"Fucking hell. Um, I- I- thank you. I mean, it was my fault. Do you know who you are? Of course you do, I didn't hit you hard enough to give you fucking amnesia. I just- wait, hold on." I took off my bag to grab the letter I'd written the night before in case I ran into him today.

"Holy shite, Happy knows who I am, this is the best day of my boss life!" He was trying to make me feel more comfortable, and I was grateful.

"I don't want to take up a ton of your time, so I just want to say thank you. You've been there for me and millions of others when no one else was. Thank you." I had to keep the tears from falling, and I think he saw that, because he had a weird, almost thoughtful look on his face before he pulled me into a tight hug. Oh my god, he gives such good hugs. I think that they actually tied with my fiancée's.

"Don't worry about it. And thank you. I love that I mean so much to people. You want to go grab a coffee at the little café over there? My treat. We can talk for a few minutes." I nodded, not trusting my voice not to squeak with the intensity of a thousand fangirls. He put a hand in the small of my back, leading me through the crowd. And I'm glad that he did too, lest the crowd give me a panic attack. I'd hate to bust out crying in front of him.

Soon enough we were out and in a relatively empty space. Soon enough, we got to the coffee shop. I ordered a small coffee with just a little creamer and milk with some cinnamon and ginger on top. He ordered a plain black. I started to protest at his payment, but he gave me a look that told me he wasn't budging. We went to sit and wait for the drinks that he'd put under his name. He broke the silence first.

"So, what's your name?"

"I'm Happy, at the moment, but my non-cosplay name is Sarah. Oh, and before I forget, here. Please don't open it here. I just didn't want to forget." I handed him the letter and he smiled.

"Oh, hey, what all did you get from the Rick and Morty tent?" I felt myself get even more excited at the question. I opened the bag that was sitting on the table.

"Oh, the game! It's badass. I loved playing it."

"I know, the videos you did convinced me to get it. And I'm sorry if that comes across as kinda creepy."

"Oh no, like I said, I love that I mean something to people. And for the record, I'm kinda glad that we bumped into each other, you seem really cool. You want to get a selfie?"

"How'd you know?" I got out my phone and he grabbed it, being taller than I am. I was only a measly 5'3". We took a couple of pictures and he took one of himself. Then he turned it to himself where I couldn't see what he was doing and typed something on it.

"Here, if you need someone to talk to, I put my number in there. If that's OK, that is."

"That's actually great, thank you. I can't tell you  how many times I've watched your videos when I couldn't talk to anyone."

"Do you not have a boyfriend or a friend to talk to?" His face was both concerned and confused.

"I'm actually engaged, but he's going to college and working, and I'm doing the same, except I'm going to be a nurse, so my schooling is somewhat more intense. I just can't talk to him all the time. And as for friends, well, let's just say not really, and leave it at that." The guy at the counter called his name and he went to get our coffees. Be handed me mine and I thanked him.

"No problem. It was nice to meet you, Sarah. Text me sometime." He gave me a hug, and walked away, grabbing the letter off the table as he went.

"Holy shit, wait until I tell Thomas."
