Nemesis

     The dark planet, crevices of fiery red lava in the black ashy ground. There was no life on
the planet. Only a suspicious evil aura surrounding it. She looked over the horizon, and there it was, there she was, was that herself? The girl suddenly stood right in front of her. Her eyes flashed red with grief and sin. Then, she jumped at her, like a vain banshee. Her own body was stiff, she couldn't control herself. Evil being rapidly flashed before her eyes and she fell down a void.

     Kaga Hanasaki woke up gasping, breathing heavily. She didn't know what her nightmare was about. She decided to ignore it and move on to get ready for the first day of school. Kaga brushed her long, wavy, dark locks then brushed her teeth. She put on her school uniform and ran down the stairs.

     "Good morning Mom!" Kaga called out.

     "Good morning honey! Make sure to get your lunch before you go out!" Mrs. Hanasaki said.

     "Okay! Bye Mom!" Kaga said, carrying her school bag and walking out to Juuban Middle School.

     It was a very exciting day to see her friends again at middle school! She was finally in 7th grade after all that tiring work in 6th grade! She was skipping, eating a red apple, when she stumbled onto a star shaped compact. It was a winged gold star with a black crystal in the middle.

     'Kaga...'

     "Huh? What was that?" Kaga looked around curious.

     'Take the shooting star...'

     Kaga took the brooch and put it in her school bag, not believing what she heard. Shooting star was what she thought the voice said. The voice was kind and innocent, but it sounded panicked. She started running, scared of what could be watching her.

     Kaga walked to class with her heart racing She just couldn't figure if a person dropped it or it just was oddly enough placed there for her. The teacher turned on the t.v and the news was on, reporting a tragic event.

~News~

     "There is a suspicious looking man out there! He says he the loyal servant of a mistress called Nemesis-X, the powerful ruler of the Dark Star" the female news reporter informed.

     "The man is taking a large amount of crystals that seem to be coming out of the many people that are being sucked of their life source. The numerous police officers are trying to fight him, however they too are being targeted by the man who seems to be immune to their bullets." the males news reporter said urgently.

     "Every one is to stay inside!" the female news reporter said before the teacher turned off the t.v.

     'Go now, protect your people!'

     It was the same voice again. Kaga reminded herself that the police officers could handle it. But she was still scared of what could happen. The voice kept on telling her to fight, but she could not understand why. She kept on telling herself she could not and she was distracted from her classwork.

     "Hey Ollie, what were we supposed to do again?" Kaga asked her classmate.

     "I don't know. But you can figure it out yourself!" Ollie told her, staring into her dark blue eyes.. Oliver was a taller boy with short, light brown hair and dark green eyes. Oliver had been her friend ever since they met in 5th grade. Oliver would alway support her, but this time, Kaga could not tell him what happened or he would think she was crazy! She sighed and thought about what she could do to stop the voice.

     When class ended, Kaga walked home with her friend Ollie. Kaga got home, her mother seemed unconscious and when she turned around, Ollie was also on the ground. Out of nowhere, which seemed like everywhere, there was a maniacal laugh that sounded like there was a hyena in the house.

     "Well well! Here's the last one in this house!" said a tall muscular figure. He had dark hair and lightly tanned skin. He had a nasty scowl on his face that looked like his mother was a skunk! Yes indeed she thought he stunk of a self-centered background! She realized that he was the man from the news!

     "What have you done! You are a monster! Never touch my family and friends you crazy man! I will protect my people, right now!" Kaga shouted, pointing her finger at him.

     'Use the shooting star and unlock your powers'

     Kaga looked in her bag and grabbed brooch she found as she ran away from the house to give her time. Then she touched the black crystal in the middle of the gold star. Light bursted out from the crystal and she yelled out words for no reason and she became confused.

     "What did I just say?" She thought for a moment and she looked at what she was wearing. She had a short dark violet pleated skirt and she had short white puffy sleeves. Her boots and collar were also violet and collar had 3 red stripes. The bow in front of the collar was black and behind the waist was a small pair of angel wings, with gray ribbons flowing from it. She had a black choker and a gold tiara with a black star shaped crystal in the middle. The so called "shooting star" was placed in front of the bow.

     The man was right on her tail and he shoot dark rays of energy at her. She screamed and dodged as many rays as she could to avoid getting hurt.

     "This must be a dream!" Kaga yelled out.

     'It is not a dream!'

     "What do I do?" Kaga cried. "Please help me"

     "If you cannot protect yourself against her forces for me, then Die!'

     The man finally caught up to her and he shot her down to the ground. Kaga screamed and she sobbed on the ground.

     "Oh no!" Kaga said knowing she failed at being a protector. She looked down at her hands thinking about how cold the voice sounded compared to before. She knew something was odd.

      Kaga ran back to the main square and looked around. The man was nowhere to be found.

     "I've been waiting for you!" an evil voice cackled. Kaga's eyes grew wide and she turned around to be strangled by him. The cackle grew longer and louder as Kaga could not gasp for air. The black crystal from the star shined and it flew out. It was a diamond shaped crystal which had a great ring of gold around the top. It grew small white wings and a tail that looked like a ribbon. It shot a bright light at the man's eyes and a gold ring at Kaga. The gold ring hovered above her head and transformed Kaga and recovered her from her incident.

     "Are you ok? It said with a high pitched voice. Kaga nodded. "Now focus and shout whatever come into your mind!"
"Nemesis! Dark Ribbon Alpha!" Kaga yelled, her voice echoing. Black Ribbons shot out from Kaga's finger and wrapped the man tightly. She was surprised at what had just happened especially since the crystal and a face and wings.

     "Thank you! Thank you for helping me!" Kaga exclaimed to the crystal. The crystal smiled at her.

     "The enemies may come back for revenge! You will need to get ready for tomorrow!" the crystal said. Kaga became furious and scared. She did not want to go risk her life again. She almost got killed before the crystal came out of the star.

     "But I can't risk my life again!" Kaga argued.

     "You will have to if you want to protect your friends and family!" the crystal said.

     "Out of all the people in the world why me!?" Kaga yelled out clenching her teeth as tears ran down her cheeks.

     "There is nothing I can do about! This is fate! This is what you are meant to do! This is what I need to do too!" the crystal stated one final time. Kaga fell on her knees, hands up to her face, and she stayed there, sobbing again. The voice then said, "shut up, stop crying and deal with it."

I feel like this whole chapter went so fast. Oh my goodness i can't even haha.
