L U S T ♡ a one direction fanfiction

pt. 1

I hauled my suitcase behind me through the busy and humid airport. I was finally coming back to England to spend a few months with my bestfriend, Liam, during this summer.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and sent a text to Liam.

To: Liam

Finally landed! :D Where are you?

Second later, he replied:

From: Liam

Turn around :*

I whipped my head around and there stood my bestfriend. He wore a black shirt, jeans, and ray bans.

A grin spread across my face and I ran to him. I hugged him and he spun me around.

"I missed you so much," I say finally pulling out of the hug.

"I missed you more, B," he smiled. "The guys are waiting at the flat. Shall we go?"

"Yeah," I said, grabbing my suitcase and making our way outside. We hopped in his sleek, black, range rover and headed towards their house.

Liam and I met when I was 4 and he was 5. My family and I stayed in London for 9 years, due to my dad's job and my mom's internship. Me and Liam went to the same school and we immediately clicked. I kind of developed an accent over those 9 years, but it washed away once we moved back to California. When we moved, Liam and I stayed in contact. We skyped each other almost every day and this is the first time we are seeing each other in 5 years. I'm 18 now.

We spent the whole car ride singing to random pop songs on the radio. Soon enough, we arrived at their house. It was 3 stories with large glass windows. The front lawn was huge. I wonder what the backyard looked like. Liam pulled into the large driveway, parking where the other cars sat.

Liam carried my luggage in and we set it in the front by the coat hanger. As we walked towards the living room, Liam yelled, "Guys! Bella's here!"

I heard some scrambling. As we entered the living room, Louis whispered, "Guys, act gentlemanly!"

I laughed to myself and tucked a strand of waist length hair behind my ear.

"BELLA!" Louis shouted and engulfed me in a warm hug.

I hugged him back, "Hey Lou,"

I hugged Zayn, Niall, and Harry and we all sat down. We talked for a bit, me doing most of the talking. I told them about California and they were surprisingly interested.

"Bella, you should probably put your stuff away. I'll show you to your room," Liam said, standing up. I grabbed my suitcase and bag and followed Liam to my new room.

The room was huge. In the middle was a giant bed with cream blankets, pillows, and comforters. The pillows and blankets had lace embedded on them. There were pictures of flowers and sunsets on the walls. Fair lights circled the room and were draped over the headboard of the bed. There was a huge window with a cute little sitting area built into the window seal.

I hadn't realized I was gaping until I heard Liam chuckle beside me. "I knew you would like it," he said, throwing an arm over my shoulder.

I gave him a tight hug and muttered a thank you into his shoulder.

"I'll leave you to unpack. Someone will get you when dinner is ready," he pushed himself off the doorframe and made his way downstairs.

I took my time and put my stuff away. I put my clothes in the dressers and closet. I put my shoes in the closet along with my coats and sweaters. I then put my toiletries away in my bathroom.

Did I mention that I have my own personal bathroom? I do not want to walk in on any naked guys this summer.

Or do I...

Damn hormones.

I shake those thoughts out of my head and focus on what I'm here for. To spend time with Liam.

I continue putting everything away until I hear a soft knock on the doorframe. I turned my head to see Zayn leaning against it.

He was in joggers and a white t-shirt. His hair was slightly ruffled and his amber eyes looked at me.

"Dinners ready. Come down, yeh?" he asked in a thick accent. Dang, even his accent was sexy.

THERE GO THE HORMONES AGAIN.

I told him I'mm be down soon and he left me to finish.

This is going to be a long summer...
