With a clash of thunder, billions and billions of rain drops fell from the heavens. Thunder grumbled and lightning flashed every now and then, telling everyone that it was not backing away anytime soon.

The wild look in Taylor's eyes could kill anyone that instant.

"Why now?" she muttered as she paced back and forth in front of the exit.

There was no way that she could return to her apartment in this weather. And god help those who thought that she was going to cough up more money just to buy a pathetic umbrella – let's just say that, one she bought before didn't serve its purpose.

"Why am I here? I really need to get out of here!", the girl with a coffee stained jacket muttered under her breath. Her palms were starting to get sweaty.

Weirdo, Taylor thought.

"Hey Mellisa, turn it up will ya?" Jemiy called out to the cashier while toying with her chopstick.

Dressed in a hoodie and a pair of jeans matched with a bad – ass cap, Jemiy – who witnessed the duo just now sat in a booth. Everything about her screamed swag. Perfectly sculpted face, slim, petite body with blonde hair, some passerby's might mistake her for an on vacation mode.

"It happened again. A couple who were hiking found a dead body on a tree. Police have confirmed that the killer of this poor man is the same as the killer of several other victims, Mystery Man. No prints were found at the crime scene. The only clue that this mystery man left is a sock. The police are doing everything in their power to bring this serial killer to justice. If anyone suspects anything suspicious, please do not hesitate to give a call to the police. Please be safe and have a pleasant day."

Jemiy stared at her empty cup of instant noodles, then looked at her watch.

3:30 a.m.

At that moment, her phone rang. The coffee – stained jacket girl started to look for her phone.

The girl's cheeks were flush red when she realised it was not hers

After the second ring, and making sure that it was in a safe line, accepted a call.

"Yes, sir. I understand. Ill be there right this instant. Thank you, sir".

Jemiy grabbed her belongings and left the store in two shakes of a duck's tail. The engine of the sexy black motorbike gradually disappeared.

Not long after, the same ringtone filled the air. This time it was Taylor's phone.

UNKNOWN NUMBER

Taylor glanced up and saw coffee stained jacket girl search frantically for her phone. Something about her really ticked her off.

"Hello?" Taylor said after accepting the call.

"Miss Taylor, Im Captain Lee, Head of Police Crime Fighting Department. Nice to meet you, informally. I know that your duty starts tomorrow, but it is important that you be included in this case. I know that your professional in your job so I hope that you understand how important this case is. Please come to Blue Forest as fast as possible. I have already sent the coordinates to your phone."

"Yes, sir". Taylor replied.

The rain had already stopped when Taylor exited the store. She lifted her hood over her head and tucked her hand into her jumper pockets. Taylor walked into a dark, scary alley. She made sure that the coast was clear and then let the magic happen. One minute she was there, the next she was gone as if she had vanished into thin air.
