"THERE'S SOMETHING I NEED TO TELL YOU BOTH." Papyrus starts.

G jumps up. "YOU'RE GAY! Oh god... Who are you with? Is it Mettaton? Ugh I hate that guy!" He groans. "I don't have anything against it. I'll support you either way bro," He said.

Pap face turned bright orange. "NO G. IM NOT GAY. NOW SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP!" He yelled obviously upset his brother would assume something like that. I, however, rolled off the couch dying of laughter.

"Oh.." G said and chuckled, "Guess my hunch was wrong.." He muttered, that just made me laugh harder.

Papyrus stomped his foot on the ground, "GUYS. STOP THIS IS SERIOUS!" He shouted regaining seriousness. I got back up and sat back on the couch still giggling, "We're all ears Pap. What's up?"

"I THINK YOU TWO SHOULD KNOW WHERE EVERYONE HAS BEEN FOR THE PAST TWO AND A HALF YEARS..." He starts. Now that caught my attention.

"IT HASN'T BEEN THE GREATEST..." he admitted frowning. "THERE'S SOMETHING THAT HAS BEEN... HIDDEN FROM THE BOTH OF YOU THAT I- NO WE THINK YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT..." Papyrus says.

"We?" G questions, "WE CALL OURSELVES THE RESISTANCE." He replied with pride in his voice.

"The Resistance? That's a really corny name bro." G said lighting a cigarette. I take the cigarette out his hand and put it out in his ash tray. Scoffing at this, he just lit other one.

"YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT IS YET!" Papyrus said throwing his arms in the air.

"True but cmon... 'The Resistance'? That's a corny name for anything " G replied.

I on the other hand was actually interested in what he had to say, "WE'RE A LARGE GROUP OF HUMANS AND MONSTERS WHO DISAGREE WITH THE SEGREGATION LAWS. WE'VE KNOWN ABOUT THE AMO'S PLAN FOR AWHILE NOW AND KNOW WHAT THEY PLAN ON DOING IN THE FUTURE." Papyrus finished, I sat there in disbelief, there is no way this 'Resistance' actually exists.

"If there is some 'Resistance' Why haven't I been informed? How have they remained hidden for so long? Who provides all the equipment? How are they hacking into government information?" I asked crossing my arms, "I CAN'T TELL YOU THAT..." Papyrus says frowning, "BUT I CAN TELL YOU WHERE EVERYONE IS AND WHAT THEY'RE DOING.." He says looking at me, I nod eagerly.

Papyrus clears his throat and begins to explain.

UNDYNE'S STORY-
(2 and a half years ago)

"Don't worry guys we're almost there." I say to Alphys and Papyrus as I drive down the road. Asriel has ordered me not to tell them where they're going. They'll find out soon enough.

We had just left our little get together at Frisk's house, Papyrus and Alphys think we're having a sleepover at my place. I wish I could tell them the truth...

I push a red strand of hair behind my fin. Not long until we reach base right out side the city. Asriel had instructed me to go find more recruits since it was just me, him and a couple other humans and monsters.

I've been a part of this Resistance for a while. It all started when I applied for a job at the local police department but was rejected immediately because 'I didn't have enough experience', But I think it was because I'm a monster.

Asriel still hasn't told me exactly how he got ahold of me. My guess is he some how got it from my job application. I remember getting a phone call explaining the purpose of the Resistance and what they plan on doing.

I was in immediately, I was the one of first members. The Resistance is really small at the moment but its slowly expanding.

I'm a solider, or agent... Whatever you want to call it. I'm  one of the ones out there fighting the AMO. I refuse to let their plan succeed.

That's why I'm bringing Alphys and Pap. We need as many people as possible and I just know they'll agree with the cause.

ALPHYS'S STORY:
(Two and a half years ago)

Living in this Human filled realm seemed like a fantasy of mine for a long time. Just seeing a glimpse of this world seemed impossible in the Underground. I gazed out the window to see the vibrant green trees and tall buildings mush together in a blur as Undyne drove Papyrus and I to a sleepover at her house.

Passing my apartment building, my thoughts drift to Mettaton for a moment. I hope he's alright. He's struggling to find a TV job and really beating himself up about it.

Then I realized we had already passed Undyne's house. "U-um Undyne? Y-you just p-past your house." Undyne doesn't reply and keeps her eyes fixated on the road.

Panic grew tight in my chest at her silence. "U-Undyne! W-Where are w-we-..." I stutter out, my voice failing in the middle. She sighed and looked at me. "I can't tell you yet. But I promise you're going to be fine Al, don't worry." Undyne reassured me, showing off a small smile.

I calmed down a bit, taking deep breaths. And looked out my window. I had never been in this part of the city before. The buildings were run-down with vines growing over broken windows. Weeds grew in between cracked side walks and roads. Dark clouds threatened rain but only brought a gloomy atmosphere.

While I'm struggling to take deep breaths Papyrus looked thrilled in the backseat like it was some sort of field trip. "Don't worry guys. We're almost there." Undyne saying tucking a red strand of hair behind her fin.

I slouch in the passenger seat as we pull up to this abandoned building. "WHAT IS THIS PLACE?" Papyrus asked getting out the car and Undyne soon after. I, on the other hand, was glued to my seat, I a ball of anxiety grow as Undyne motioned for me to get out of the car.

I took a deep breath and slid out of my seat. Why am I so scared? It's Undyne! She would never to anything to hurt us She's my girlfriend after all! I trust her.

Timidly, I followed Undyne inside the building and was immediately greeted by two men with guns. I squeaked loudly horrified.

"Cool it guys. It's only me," Undyne growled, pushing passed them. Papyrus and I exchange nervous glances and follow Undyne to a side room. Surprisingly, the building we were in was completely clean of graffiti and vandalism. It must only look abandoned from the outside. After all it does have electricity!

In the corner of the room there was a goat monster sitting in a chair reading and looked up once we entered the room. "Howdy" He greeted smiling. Undyne smiled, "Hello Asriel," She replied.

"I see you brought new recruits... Like I asked... Good work," Asriel said standing from his chair and started walking towards us. Undyne nodded, "R-recruits? Recruits for w-what?" I asked confused.

"Ah yes, let me explain. My name is Asriel. I'm in charge of the 'Resistance', as you can see our group is very small in numbers at the moment and are in desperate need of assistance. We'd like you both to join." Asriel explained.

"THAT SOUNDS SO COOL! I'M IN!" Papyrus shouted excitedly. Asriel smiled, feeling delighted at the skeletons enthusiasm. "That's great! and what about you?" His question directed to me. I gulped nervously at his authoritative gaze. He stared at me patiently, awaiting my answer.

"W-What?! What's the purpose for t-this group?" I asked. I wasn't going to go into the organization blind. Some knowledge of this would most definitely affect my decision. And plus, I have Mettaton to think about.

Asriel explained the Anti-Monsters Organizations plans and described ways the Resistance could stop them. Though Asriel seemed convincing, I couldn't help but worry.

"I-I have to d-decline. I have to t-take care of M-Mettaton. He can't survive w-without me. I-I just can't leave him!" Asriel seemed to understand where I was coming from because he paused and thought for a moment.

"What if we offered him a job here too?"
