Darkiplier's p.o.v
December 24, 2020. Thursday.
"No, this one." I hold up sweatpants and one of my sweaters towards (Y/n) as she puts on Anti's shirt.
"Babe, you need that sweater." She looks up at me and I shake my head.
"No, you can wear it." I place both of the clothes on her side of the bed and Anti walks in.
"Sup scrubs." He puts his hands in his pockets and eyes (Y/n).
"Are you done eye raping me? Look guys, we're just going to be downstairs watching movies in our pajamas for Christmas eve, let the kids play in the snow for a bit then wait till midnight for the gifts." She floats around the room, fixing a couple of decorations.
The kids float inside while giggling, Annabel following them. I look at them as they land on the ceiling. Annabel jumps and grabs onto Darla's hands. They float around the room, giggling as Annabel swings her legs around.
"I see the kids are ready to play. Awe, you dressed them in the matching pajamas you got them for the baby shower." (Y/n) floats in front of them and they sit on her right leg.
"I'll go check on the preparations." I say and float out of the room as the kids follow me. I smile and see their necklaces glow as they laugh. I float into the ballroom and see the giant screen being set up.
"How's it coming along?" I ask and the logos look up at me.
"The guys are still making some of the food, we're just trying to fix the screen." Cutiepie says and I float to the top of the screen, tying the ends with rope and tying the other end to the ceiling.
"That looks good! Thank you!" Cutiepie shouts and I float downwards, she staggers a bit and takes a deep breath.
"Are you okay?" I ask and she nods.
"The doctor said the baby is growing faster than normal, so I'm basically 6 months in even if it's been 4." I help her take a seat on one of the chairs we brought in and she thanks me.
"How come (Y/n) had to wait 8 months for hers when she's a goddess?" She asks and I see the guys bringing in some food.
"Since there were two, it took a humane amount of time. But if she only had one, she would have to wait half the time. Since we're demons and now gods, it's a little new for us as well. I'm gonna go get some comfortable things for the movie, take it easy, okay?" I say and she waves.
Floating to the kitchen, I hear the doorbell ring.
"I got it!" I shout and float back to the door. I open the door and see Infelix, Wilford, Google and Antonio. I step aside, letting them in and they all say happy holidays as I close the door and lead them to the ballroom.
"You can just place the gifts under the tree by the window." I say and they place their gifts down.
"Is there anything we can help with?" Infelix asks.
"Just to carry a couple things, they're mostly just blankets and pillows for the movie."
They follow me as I go to a closet where we keep spare bedroom pieces. We go back to the ballroom, carrying blankets and pillows. I carry mattresses with my arms and tentacles and place them around the ballroom, each of the placing pillows and blankets on the mattresses.
(Y/n) comes floating around with Anti as they talk about what they want to eat. Anti pulls her close and she giggles as he kisses her face repeatedly.
"Ahem." I clear my throat and point to the guests that just came. (Y/n) gasps and floats to them quickly, tackling them with a hug.
"I missed you guys!" She shouts and they hug her back.
"We missed you as well, I never thought I'd see the day where the Goddess wore sweatpants and a baggy sweater." Infelix comments and they all stand up as she lets go.
"Very funny. Anyways, how was the trip? The snow treating you nicely?" She asks and the doorbell rings. Anti floats away and I look around to make sure everything is okay.
"Wilford, Google and I portaled here. Antonio met us as the entrance of the kingdom so it's not that bad out here like I thought it would be." Infelix says and her face lights up.
"I almost forgot! Wait here." She floats back up to the room. I blink and look at Infelix.
"She's been more lively lately." Infelix walks up to me and I smile.
"You never used to smile like that. Neither has Anti, I'm glad she actually makes you happy enough to smile even a little." He looks at me and I chuckle.
"Why has everyone been saying that lately?" I ask and he places a hand on my shoulder.
"Because you've changed so much since we were kids. I remember you wouldn't even think about looking at a Christmas party or having a nice home. But look at you, you're a king slash god, hosting a pajama Christmas Eve party with your wife and kids that you share with Anti. I never thought I'd say this but, I'm actually pretty jealous and proud of you man." He gives me a genuine smile and I hug him, patting his back as he does the same.
"Thanks, it really means a lot." We let go and see (Y/n) coming down with the same box that had all the necklaces in them. She takes them out and hands one to each of them.
"What are these for?" Infelix asks as he puts on the necklace.
"My grandmother sent them, she said it's to keep us connected and protected. The other necklaces don't have names because they're for the next generation. They're going to have their own as well. But once they have their own kids, we give our kids our necklaces and they pass theirs to their kids and so on." The necklaces glow and they stare at it.
Anti comes back with our mother in law and her sister.
"Mom!" (Y/n) shouts and floats away to her.
Sun comes up to us and greets us. We have a small conversation between us and the twins float to us, pulling on my sweater.
"Snow!" Annabel shouts and I look outside.
"You wanna play?" I ask and all 3 of them nod.
"Hey guys! It's time to go outside!" I call out and we all walk to the backyard, sitting on the porch as the kids play with the pets.
"Our family is very big." Sun comments and we smile.
"Don't worry Aunt Sun, this family will still grow." (Y/n) tells her and I feel a snowflake fall on my nose, making me look up.
(Y/n) starts clapping slowly and we look at her. She smiles at us and Infelix plays a melody on his phone.
"You've gotta help me, I'm losing my mind.
Keep getting the feeling you want to leave this all behind. Thought we were going strong. I thought we were holding on, aren't we? " (Y/n) sings out and the kids run up to us, sitting on our laps.
"No, they don't teach you this in school. Now my heart's breaking and I don't know what to do. Thought we were going strong, thought we were holding on, aren't we?" Anti sings all of a sudden and looks at me for the next line. I roll my eyes and continue the song.
"You and me got a whole lot of history. We could be the greatest thing that the world has ever seen. You and me got a whole lot of history. So don't let it go, we can make some more, we can live forever. " I sing out and everyone looks surprised at my singing, making my cheeks red.
"All of the rumors, all of the fights. But we always find a way to make it out alive. Thought we were going strong, thought we were holding on, aren't we?" We all sing as the snow falls slowly.

"Thank you all so much for coming! We'll see you on new years!" (Y/n) shouts out the door as everyone who doesn't live here leaves. I wrap my arms around her waist and she sighs in content.
"What are you thinking about my love?" I ask and she faces me, placing her hands on my heart.
"How lucky I am to have you by my side." She whispers and I kiss her head.
