Genji knew from experience that hangovers are and forever will be a menace to the body. Especially to those who haven't had them before.

Before he got up, though, he felt the warmth and pressure on his back and around his waist, soaking it in for a while. The soft smell of incense in the room still lingered from the few days before. Zenyatta's arms were wrapped limply around his waist. His nose was buried in the crook of Genji's neck. His breath fluttered gently against his skin, making goosebumps rise all over the latter's body. He knew Zenyatta would wake up feeling like he had been run over by a truck a couple times, so he tried his best to help him out. He forced himself to climb out of the comfortable position he was in and prepare a few things. He threw some blankets over the windows and put on some tea.

When Zenyatta first woke up, he was adamant about going to work. He stumbled along the walls, trying to edge his way out the door. Genji had to push him back onto the bed and convince him to take the day off, which wasn't easy. But no one in their right mind should let a friend go to work like that. Finally, he relaxed and stayed put.

The worst part was that he didn't remember a thing from the night before. He didn't even know how he got home. Genji debated on whether or not to even tell him. He decided to keep quiet unless he asked. Thankfully, he didn't. He just laid on the bed for a while and thoroughly apologized for being a "burden".

"Hey, what kind of friend would I be if I didn't stick around when you're fucked over?" He handed over a mug and sat across from him.

"I'm embarrassed and I don't even know what I've done." Zenyatta shook his head. "I don't expect you to go into detail, but I will ask... Was it bad?"

"Nah, it was fine. You conked out after a few drinks," Genji lied through his teeth.
