Chapter 14

family pool party.

So I've been thinking and I think I will make this book either 25-30 maybe even 20 chapters long, I'm going to make a different book with the vloggers In it after I finish up but that's what I've decided!

•Madeline POV•

I wake up in Todd's bed with an ache in my heart, it's become a normal thing but I try to pretend it's not there so Todd worries less. Today Zane is throwing a pool party at Todd house so I've decided to make an appearance for the first time after all the commotion.

I hear the door of Todd's room open and I look up so see him bringing me a tray with breakfast, he places the tray on my lap when I sit up then brushes the hair out of my face and kisses my forehead.

"Good morning Beautiful" he says with a smile

"Good morning Todd, thank you for breakfast" I say looking down at the tray of eggs, bacon & grits.

"Kristen made it for you, she's excited that you're coming to spend time with everyone"

I haven't talked to Kristen face to face in a while, I've wanted to wait until all the bruising and swelling went down but after it did I guess I just didn't want to see anybody, I miss her, Liza, Andrea, Erin, Carly and Gabbie so much that I can't wait to see them today.

Todd leaves the room to help set up and clean for today. I eat the wonderful breakfast then I stand up and walk out of Todd's room into my room. I haven't been in here in a long time but Scott fixed the dent in the wall and Kristen tidied it up for me waiting for me to finally come back to my normal self.

I walk to my closet and grab my black cocktail dress and put it on over my bathing suit, I look at myself in the mirror for the first time in ages, all the bruises are gone and I look like myself again.
It feels good to be back.

I walk out into the kitchen and I see Scott

"Hi Scotty" I say quietly with a smile and a wave

"Hey Madi, im glad you're back!" He says pulling me into a hug

Hugs are so comforting to me, they're so gentle and thoughtful, I love them.

All of a sudden two hands go over my eyes blocking my vision

"Guess whoooo" I familiar voice sings

"Kristen?" I question as the hands fly off my eyes and I turn around being tackled to the floor in a hug

"I missed you Madi"

"I missed you too Kristen"

She stands up and helps me up off the ground, I wave at them as I walk outside and see Todd and

"ZANE!" I yell as I rush over hugging him

"BABYYYY" he says tightening the hug

"Aw I missed you Z" I say as we stop hugging

"I miss you too gurl" he says with a smile "damnnn I love your dress!"

A shy smile crosses my face and my cheeks go pink "thank you"

Then I feel warm hands wrap around my waist hugging me from behind but these hands are familiar to me.

"Hi Toddy" I say turning around crashing my lips onto his as he grabs my waist and pulls me closer

I pull away and watch his bright smile spread across his face.

"Wanna help me blow up the swan and the flamingo?" He asks putting his hands together in a praying motion

"I would be honoured" I say watching his face light up again

Todd & I inflated the pool swan and flamingo and headed inside to set up the snacks and drinks.

One by one everyone was arriving and welcoming me back into the group, I love everyone so much that they are more like family than friends.

As the night was coming to an end we all sat around the pool dipping out feet into the water with drinks in our hands, I was sitting with Todd to my right and his arm around me. Liza sat to my left with David beside her.

"Can I have everyone's attention pleaseeee" Liza shouts stopping everyone from laughing and socializing.

"Alright well I would just like to make a toast to the strongest girl I know, Madeline you have been through hell and back and I'm so so proud of you for being here today. Welcome back Sista, you've been missed" She says smiling at me

"To Madeline" David shouts raising his bottle of root beer into the air

Everyone cheered and raised their glasses and bottles in the air, I started to cry because I finally have a family again after the car accident.

"Thank you everyone, thank you for showing me that even though my family isn't around anymore doesn't mean I can't have a new one" I say wiping my tears, Andrea and Gabbie were also crying so all three of us ended up laughing at one another

Today was an amazing day.
I love life once again.
