Rose - POV

I couldn't help but look across the room to see Scorpius with Albus chatting.

Scorpius is putting down his book because he's laughing so hard at Albus' joke of some sort.

I can't help but smile and feel warm in my cheeks.

I snap out of it and look at the book in front of me.

Although it's not like I can concentrate on it. Scorpius has been on my mind so much lately. It's sort of painful if you think about it.

I can feel him staring at me through the book. I feel warm all over again I hold it in my giggle though as it wouldn't be appropriate to do here and now.

Though I can't stop thinking about Scorpius' grey eyes probably staring at me.

I want to put my book down and look at him but I just can't. So much stuff is going on.

I finally concentrate on my potions book when I smell a familiar smell right beside me.

"Interesting book?"

Somehow like an instinct I snap at him.

"Just because I broke up with someone doesn't give you the courtesy to replace him."

He shrugs, "just wanted to see if you'd recommended this book."

"We have the same book, it's for potions."

He blushes and I do too although I hide it behind my book and out of the corner of my eye I see him leave.

I feel bad but he's Scorpius I just can't explain it.

"Was that Malfoy you were just talking to," my red headed cousin asks sitting beside me.

"He was asking a stupid question about the book, that was it."

"Well he was blushing as he walked away, care to explain further."

I sigh putting down my book, "he was just trying to talk to me anyway he could be I shut him down, that's it Lily."

Though Lily was two years younger than me she was a great friend. She was quite mature and I enjoyed that.

Lily just smiled, "you two would make great babies."

Forget what I said about maturity.

I would have to agree though.

"Well he's available and your avaliable so what's the hold up."

I sigh, "I just got out of a relationship."

"Why again?"

I didn't really have an answer for that. I just didn't think he was right for me. I mean he was smart and mature but I needed more.

"We just weren't right Lily and now I shall be off, more studying for me."

I leave and can't help but have a last look at Scorpius as he is writing on a piece of paper with his ink hands and his face seems lost into the problem.

Why does my heart ache for confusion.
